Berryman Products 2211 Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner with Extension Tube, 11-Ounce

This product came extremely fast to me in the mail and it was packaged very well. The product itself sprayed really nice and did an above and beyond job that I was doing it cleaned it really really well and it works like brand new again. I would definitely recommend this part to anybody that’s looking for a product like this. I would definitely get this part of five star review.

I own a 2010 VW Beetle 2.5 automatic with just over 100k miles. I noticed it would loudly upon initial start up, idling was higher, gas mileage was down, and would bump into gear even after warming up. I removed the MAF sensor, sprayed it, and gave it about 30 minutes. Upon starting up, it was still loud, but almost immediately lowered in idling along with being more quiet overall. I tool it for a drive and shifts were much smoother than before. My car definitely runs better. I will have to fill it up to check MPGs later. A big difference in smoothness for sure.

Great stuff, best price! Berryman has been making automotive products for a century now. They perfected cleaners. I also use the B12 to keep my fuel system and injectors clean, too. It’s 1/3 the price of Seafoam and does the same job. If I need a cleaner of any kind, I get Berryman! I wish they’d send me a hat. Thinking of a tattoo. Will name my next child Berry. It is an easy DYI job, and you have to use this specific kind of cleaner or risk ruining an expensive part of your car. Youtube videos show how to do it. Check engine light comes on when a few codes are tripped. Differs by state. Clearing an easy one might keep you good. Even in states without emissions inspections you might need to keep that light off. Some car makers like GM, cause the air conditioning to stop if you have a check engine light on. Bummer, especially if your state doesn't inspect. An expensive job if you go to the dealer for it. On Toyotas the traction control and anti-lock lights come on when only the check engine is tripped. Some mechanics try to charge for fixing all 3 when only one is faulty. Save yourself.

I've read the reviews before I bought this product. They were mixed. I have basic mechanical skills and tools and it was an easy job. The best part, my check engine light stopped coming on. I also have a tool that reads and clears check engine codes. They are cheap on Amazon, easy to use and work well.

Our Accord has always been a bit balky off idle especially with the CVT transmission. Removed two simple screws, sprayed it clean and was back in place within 2 minutes. The car moves off idle smoothly with no herky jerky motions! Get this product as it works great!
