Great artist
Great book, great artist.I love to send these to people because sometimes it's hard to find decent birthday and Christmas cards and people like receiving them. Was delivered fast and brand new.

The gift seems to please the recipient.
It's hard to evaluate a gift when asking if they liked it.So it's hard for the sender to evaluate the post cards.

From the Publisher
"As a young man, Maurits Cornelis Escher (Dutch, 1898-1972) briefly studied to be an architect. When he abandoned architecture in favor of graphic art, it was certainly a good thing for the art world; and given his penchant for designing buildings in which stairs ascend to the bottom and walls behave like Mobius strips, it may have been a relief to the world of architecture as well."Escher used the earthly media of wood (for engravings), stone (for lithography), watercolor, pencil, and ink to set free his playful, awesomely imaginative creations. This book of postcards features thirty of his finest works."Pomegranate's books of postcards contain thirty top-quality reproductions bound together in a handy, artful collection. Easy to remove and produced on heavy card stock, these stunning postcards are a delight to the sender and receiver. Note: postcards are oversized and may require additional postage. ISBN: 0-7649-1757-9; size: 4 3/4 x 6 7/8"."--© Pomegranate
