Great books for our 6 year old. We read together and there is enough variance in each book to make them enjoyable for us to read together but predictable enough with happy outcomes for our child.Well written and great to introduce them to fantasy books

Child was always borrowing the books from the school library, so had his own set for Christmas

Grabbed this box set in the Black Friday sales for £20 The current price is £80. For 18 books £20 seemed a real bargain, but the full blown £80 feels fairly hefty. The original set arrived damaged, but was replaced promptly by Amazon. These books are very popular with boys of around 9 and so are great for the typical reluctant reader demographic. As a lengthy series, if you can get a child into these books they'll have plenty to keep them going for a while.

This is the first 18 books. My kids were too young when the series started and went on to read the rest of the series via books from library and their friends. They were delighted to read the early books, and I am glad as well as it doesn't costs a bomb to purchase these. Very good value.

My 8 YO son is a decent reader but has had a hard time finding books that interest him. He is OBSESSED with this series!! So glad to have found books that he excited about reading! I’ve never heard of these books before, but his 2nd grade teacher had some in her class and now he’s hooked! Super happy to have so many for him to read and such a reasonable price

My kid (8) loves this series, I thought we would go through them one at a time together, but since these arrived they have been devouring the books on their own. Everyday they site some passage over another they thought was cool, and can’t wait for me to catch up with them. My only complaint is that art is very poor compared to the original printings, and often doesn’t quite match the text, even my child shares this opinion.

All the books were there, glad we could read them all. My son was sad to find that the little token in the back of the book was cut out of all of the first series. I don't know if we need that to enter something online. Also, we really liked the original art and we're sad that they had all been redone.

Books are great. Storage box the books arrived in was torn and broken and unusable.

My son loves these books; however the storage case it came in was torn on all edges and even had some damage to the books.
