Great gift for my mum – she loves it!
I bought the AUVON Dual Channel TENS Machine as a gift for my mum, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! She’s been dealing with some muscle and joint pain lately, and this little device has made a big difference. She really likes how easy it is to use – the instructions are clear, and the screen is simple to navigate. There are so many different modes to choose from, so she can adjust it depending on how she's feeling that day. The dual channel feature is also great because she can use it on two different areas at the same time. The pads stick well and stay in place, and the variety of sizes (2" and 2"x4") makes it easy to target different parts of the body. It feels well-made and comes in a compact case, so she can take it with her if needed.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase – and more importantly, so is my mum! 😊 Highly recommend it to anyone looking for natural pain relief or a thoughtful gift.

Very impressed!
I’ve been having a lot of lower back pain for a few months now and, whilst I was sceptical about buying one, a friend told me how much it helped them. This unit is absolute bliss! The different modes, combinations, strengths make this really a versatile product and, whilst my back is still bad, I do get a reprieve. I’m hopeful this will make my pain more manageable until the underlying issue is sorted. The unit itself is small, though the cables are a bit on the long side… I like the mix of small pads and longer ones, both stick well on the skin and don’t cause any irritation (you can buy spares too!).Absolutely worth the cost!

Can't complain at this price
I suffer from chronic back pain, and I got fed up with my old TENS unit needing a constant stream of batteries. This was the cheapest, rechargeable unit I could find for sale. Replacement electrode pads are also quite affordable, which is an issue to consider if you expect to use a lot of them. The electrode connections are 2mm pins, which are widely used, so you can probably buy unbranded pads, which are even cheaper. This is a dual-channel unit, which means you can cover a wider area of the body, or target two different injury areas at the same time -- the two channels are completely independent, with separate intensity and pattern adjustments. The unit has numerous different patterns of stimulation, which feel different (to an extent). I normally use the randomizing patterns, because I've heard that you can become tolerant to the same pattern of stimulation, if it's repeated too often. But TENS is more an art than a science -- there's little robust evidence that it actually does anything at all -- so I guess the trick is to fiddle with the settings, until you find something that helps. My own view is that TENS is nothing more than a distraction from the pain, like rubbing or prodding the skin. Still, even a distraction is better than nothing. But if you think it's going to work like a shot of morphine, you'll probably be disappointed. This unit does help me, but there's no telling whether it will help another person. Fortunately, it's not expensive, so it's not an enormous gamble. And it's unlikely to do any harm unless, perhaps, you're daft enough to direct the electrical current through your heart. The unit is rechargeable using a USB cable. It's the old-style micro-USB, not USB-C. I think The manufacturer says the battery life is ten hours, and that sounds about right to me. I guess it depends on how long you have the screen on, and how much current you kick out.The user interface is funky, to say the least. There's a sort of four-way joystick thing, but the controls are not complementary. That is, the 'up' arrow doesn't do the opposite of the 'down' arrow. I'm still unsure whether the centre button does anything at all. If you press the wrong button by accident, it can take a lot of subsequent button-presses to get back to a working state. The display is back-lit, and very bright; but, once the back-light turns off, there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it back on again, without changing some setting.Worst of all, the on/off switch is a slider, not a button. So when the programme has finished and the unit switches off, you can't just press a button to wake it up: you have to fiddle the slider back and forth. I'm not sure how long it will be before the slider just wears out, with the amount of wear it gets. The little manual is basically useless, but working it all out using trial and error wasn't difficult. Most changes to the controls reset the current level to minimum, so you're unlikely to get a nasty surprise, if you just poke the controls until something happens. In short, it's far from perfect, but if it works at all, even a little, it's worth the twenty-five quid it costs.

It works for pain!
I have used this machine alot! I used it pre surgery for my endometriosis pain. Since my major surgery in Nov 2024 I’ve continued to use it as now I have been left with new pain! It works by delivering impulses through the skin, potentially blocking pain signals to the brain or stimulating the release of natural painkillers like endorphins. You can change the settings from low to high, there are different impulse settings to choose from, and the power holds for a long time and I haven’t had to charge it often.

What an incredible little machine!
I bought this for my plantar fasciitis to use alongside exercises provided by a physio. 3 months later the pain has disappeared and I can walk normally again. My wife has also benefited by using it on her gluteus medius strained muscle, which she gets from time to time. It relieves the stiffness. It is easy to use, the pads are still the original ones supplied and for the cost is excellent value. Wr have no hesitation in recommending.

Early indications are very promising!
Wow…. I’ve just purchased this as I have arthritis in my shoulder and have read a few articles about how TENS can really alleviate some of the pain. My shoulder can be extremely painful at times. I was a little sceptical and maybe even a little worried. Firstly almost immediately I could feel my muscles working immediately. The controls worked really well as I played around with the intensity, the build quality seems really good particularly considering the price. I’m not sure yet how long the power will last, but charging seems straight forward. Because it’s so compact it’s really easy to carry around should you need to. Really looking forward to seeing how well this works in the long term.

Very impressed. Good bit of kit.
Only had it today but used it straight away. I've been struggling for a while with lower back and sacroiliac pain. I wanted something that wasn't popping tablets to help manage the pain and so upon first use this did the trick. I bought this after a neighbour said he used one for pain in his hand which he manages with steroid injections and one of these. Glad I bought this one. For the price, I think you can't go wrong. Cables are a bit long in my opinion but it's a neat bit of kit. It has lots of settings so im sure there is one that would suit anyone. It is quite powerful and was surprised by this. I bought a hard case for it and the pads are very sticky.
