take the time to learn, then it's awesome!!!
I got this for my wife, so she had something to listen to while she walks.I didn't expect a learning curve for the player as they are all different.Once I went through the plater set ups, I found that I can put all my music on the players Explorer Folder.I made up a listing of all music in various folders and she can play them all from the Explorer folder and it couldn't work any better. When she wants Radio to play just work the prompts and play what she likes. She is very happy with the company of music and can walk longer (for her health) due to losing ones self in the music.I need to get one next.

Only if you WANT to waste your money
This thing is a TOTAL waste of money. Navigation takes some getting used to, but possible with trial and error. Instructions leave allot to be desired. If manufacturing really needs to save money by not printing instructions they should at least put something in the internet.I am returning this item because it consistently shuts off and resets. Not talking about something as simple as stops playing music, it resets all the settings so you have to go through set up and navigate through everything just to play the music you where listening to in the first place. Oh wait..... after all that, it just reset again after 20 seconds of play time and now you get to start over. One good thing is that it does have a FM radio player (which is also affected by resets and shut downs). But wait, after having reception of local stations for the past couple weeks, now all i get is static. So much for the good thing. The shut downs and resets are unpredictable in their consistency. One day it works fine but the next day it's doing what it does best.If you don't have enough frustration in your life and you have too much money laying around, i recommend you go ahead and get this thing (the colors are pretty). But if you are normal, go find something else.

Decent for the price
Pros: Long battery life. Holds a lot of songs. Seems to be durable as my 8 and 6 year olds use them (fairly roughly) and no problems as of yet.Cons: odd button layout. Volume is not readily accessible. The “select” button is weird. Pausing and playing does not always work as intended.

Cheap and you get what you pay for
My second IPOd nano packed up and I needed a replacement but couldnt afford the apple prices. I thought these looked like a cheap rip off but worth a risk. Firstly this is no IPOD nano replacement. The inbuilt software and navigation isnt a patch on the apple device and it doesnt have podcast support. The screen display isnt a patch on the IPOD and it is not touch screen either. Sound quality is Ok but again it is not even close to the Nano and when plugged into external speakers it is a lot quieter. On the plus side it has 32BGB of memory and its easy to add files through explorer. A problem with the apple device which relies on ITUNES. I had Aftermarket ear buds on the Nano that cost 5 times more than this player and they were incredible. They sounded terrible on this. Another high end pair i tried also sounded bad,It took me a long while to figure out how to get a particular track or folder to play as it is not obvious but I eventually figured it out. This was a deal breaker for me and I was all set to buy something else. The included user manual is Junk. You have to stop the track playingPress Menu till you get folderUse the left and right arrows to navigate to the folder you wantselect with menuNavigate to a track within that folderPress MenuPress the central buttonYou get what you pay for but if you just want something to listen too when doing the garden, having a bath or down at the gym your 20 dollars is well spentAfter spending the best part of a year with this device I must update a few things. Firstly the Quirky user interface I have gotten used to it. As long as you pause a track it isnt too bad searching through the other songs, Secondly I was not very impressed with the sound when using it on some high end ear buds I had but when switchin too the included ear buds and switching the profile to rock I think it sounds really good. I am more than happy with the sound,

My three kids love them.
Got them to let the kids have their own music without letting them loose on Spotify after videos were added to that. The kids love these players. One of them does have issues with her player. We've had to reset it back to factory settings several times because the computer stops recognizing it. It's only that one that has given us that problem. So far, I reset it and it works again so it's still worth it.

OK for price but power button has issues UPDATED
Power button has issues. Hard to turn on or off. The switch is cheap and rarely works right. Trying to put other videos on it also is an issue. Seems to only work with AMV files which is odd. Would recommend spend more for something else.Update as of 06-27-2022 Well the port to plug in the charger stopped working so now the unit will not charge at all and is completely dead. Going to have to spend a bit more and get something more reliable. This unit is not worth the money. Downgrading to two stars.
