Great brand and good reliability
These are really good PVC unions. I needed to match some unions I purchased a couple of years ago at a hardware store. The store no longer carries that brand and the threads on their new brand does not match. I wanted to replace only part of the union and not both half's to avoid redoing all the plumbing connections, glad I found these on Amazon.

Works perfectly (for less than the Big Box store price)
It arrived on time and was in perfect shape in the box. It was used to upgrade a replacement of a segment of PVC for our well pump that was cracked by a 4" tree that had grown directly next to the pipe over the last 10+ years. That whipping tree was repeatedly pushing against the PVC pipe during the winds of hurricane Milton. Before tightening up the coupling I added a bit of teflon grease to the O-ring (Magic Lube brand that I always have on hand for pool-related O-rings) just for that little bit of extra guarantee it would seal perfectly and stay flexible in the Florida sun. I let the PVC cement on everything cure for 2 hours. I only hand-tightened the coupler and upon powering up the pump not a single drop of water leaked out. PERFECT! (Okay, so I got a little primer on the pipes and looking at the picture can't believe I actually was reluctant to cut down the tree... HA!)

Easy to install. I placed it in a PVC line from my well. Watertight at 60 psi.

A good old-style coupling for a line breakage repair job!
This coupling is old style and will work to fix a line breakage. Also, can decouple the line for later inspection.
