Usborne Beginners History 10 Books Collection Box Set (Stone Age, Iron Age, Egyptians, Ancient Greeks, Romans, Vikings, Castles & MORE!)

We purchased this box set for middle schoolers. It’s designed for much younger kids, but I find it to be a great resource to give students a quick understanding & basic knowledge of various time periods.

Surprised I found these in a set. Using them for homeschooling. They don't have a ton of information in them but great for kids to read. Clear colorful pictures.

We love these readers. I initially bought them for homeschool, to use one reader each month as a spine and turn into a unit study, but my kids devoured them all right away. There is just enough information to catch their interest without so many words on the pages to overwhelm them. The price brand new is a little high for what it is, so I waited until they were on sale.

Got this for homeschooling my 5 year old. He LOVES this series. I’ve even learned a few facts from it myself.The books themselves are great quality. They withstand my two year old roughly turning pages and sometimes throwing it.I like that there are activities provided by usborne to go along with the books.I like that they have real photos and old artwork in it in when appropriate and that the animations aren’t so cartoonish they have to be seriously interpreted by younger audiences such as my two year old (for example an animated hawk really looks like a hawk instead of any old bird).All in all I am really impressed with this book series.

We purchased these for our kids to read on their own for history. They enjoyed reading and telling us all about the history book they chose.

These are great books for young readers to enjoy some non-fiction. They supplement classroom history really well. I have used these in a 3rd and now a 4th grade classroom. The students beg me to "borrow" my special books and love reading them. I will definitely get another set!

Kids love these and opens up meaningful discussions. 5 stars.

I bought these for my granddaughters and they really love them. Very educational.
