I bought these on a whim and it may be the best purchase I've made all year! I took a couple on vacation. I've used some to sketch out projects or make paint plans. I've used some for work when I needed to be on site and didn't want to carry a full sized notebook. If I were still a teacher, I'd happily give these to my students. They're perfect for small projects and inexpensive enough I don't feel like I'm wasting them if I make a mistake here and there. These even fit in the back pocket of women's jeans, which is a rare quality for a notebook.My one minor complaint is that the paper is relatively thin and doesn't work well with water-based markers. But hey, nobody said these were fine art supplies. I've used pencils, ballpoints, felt-tip pens, acrylic paints, and gel pens, and they've held up great for all of those.

They are great for on-the-go observational drawings. I bought these as a series of sketchbooks that I could bring with me when traveling places. I make sure that I have drawing materials at all times because of my career as an animator. They are small and can fit into my purse or backpack with no trouble whatsoever. The colors make it easy to organize what type of drawings are in which (EX: figure drawings in brown, landscapes in green, character designs in yellow). They are small and thin, which means they would not work great for large projects or detailed work. But they do work great as a small drawing journal for those who prefer to draw small.

I used to work in a print shop and got into the habit of chopping up extra paper and cardstock to make little scrap notebooks. I used them for everything - brainstorming gaming ideas, keeping track of shopping lists, and even organizing ideas for photo shoots. Unfortunately, I ran out.These fit the bill nicely. They're cheap for a lot of them. They're small so they fit in a pocket easily. And they're just a few pages so I don't feel like I'm wasting a full notebook by using it to scribble ideas for just one project. They're exactly what I was needing. I might order another box or two before the price goes up.

For purses, pockets, car glove compartment, night stand, desk drawer - I love having small notebooks like this at my fingertips all the time. They take up almost NO space, which is exactly what I wanted, and are very useful. My grandkids love them too, because they can pick their favorite color and have something to doodle on. I bought them on impulse, and I'm very glad I did.

Got these to use them as little doodle books as a replacement for wasting too much nice paper for pen drawing and I gotta say, I really love em! The dark reddish ones are my absolute favorite color. They honestly dont look all that durable but something about the size or the cover material must make them survive super well as they managed to stay perfectly fine after being thrown around in my art bag for almost a week. Great little books!

I ordered these in April thinking I had found a good supplier for these journals. The journals were perfect for what I needed, but when I went to place a reorder the price had increased a whopping $8 per order in one month for the same amount of journals. No thank you.

Absolutely what it says it is in the description. Lovely little notebooks in a bunch of colors that are perfect for keeping as a small journal, ledger or diary. Great easy to store packaging and good quality for cost. I'd buy these again if I had a need for more. I'll be altering them as inclusion in larger journals as a free gift, and for that they couldn't be better at all.
