Did the job without any fuss.
I'd built a motorised focuser for my main telescope and bought this to charge the battery in situ, I started off with 4 NiMH cells but found I needed to add another one to drive the motor convincingly, so the automatic voltage sensing of this charger was just the job

Versatile charger
This charger is supplied in a branded brown box which contains the charger and a multi lead which covers a wide variety of radio controlled vehicles but no instructions or documentation although I suppose they are not really needed.I ordered this to use with a drone where I had lost the charger and it worked well charging the small battery quickly. It has a sturdy ABS plastic body and a bright LED to show it is connected which glows red when charging and turns green when fully charged. It is C E marked and self adjusts between 2.4V and 12V batteries adjusting current between 500 to 800mA so it is not a fast charger.This charger is not cheap but looks to be well made and more importantly safe. It is able to charge a wide variety of drones, radio control cars and other toys and is useful to keep as a backup or an additional charger to keep the batteries topped up.

Fits a lot of different batteries and the blue light indicator is great let’s me know when batteries are charging and done charging.

Killed my batteries!
The charger never stopped charging the batteries completely over heated and am waiting to find out if its fried £30 of batteries. I'd 100% stay away form this product as only realised now that this has happened to others before as well!

Good flexible charger at a good price.
I asked a question whether it switches to a trickle charge after fully charging the battery & got conflicting answers. I did a test and after a full charge it consumes 1 watt of power which may or may not be a trickle charge rate.It appears to charge well , gets warm but not hot when charging. The multiple connections are very handy & should meet most needs.Overall I think this is a decent buy & good value and quite happy to recommend it.
