Lube that Cube
I recently bought two speed cubes, as a passion has ignited in me to solve this classic puzzle faster. The second most important purchase when speed cubing is lube, and what I heard was that this lube was cheap and versatile. I have no experience with other lubes, so I can't say if this is any better than them, but this is indeed a good lube. My first speed cub was the YJ MGC 3, which is relatively slow turning magnetic puzzle, and the interior are made of a primary plastic that is pretty soft. The Traxxas 50K did improve the puzzle a bit, as the turning became smoother, and there were fewer lockups. I couldn't say that the cube was any faster, though. Perhaps a Traxxas 10K or 30K lube is better choice for that one. My second speed cube is the MoYu Weilong GTS 3. This one has hard plastic internals, and the Traxxas 50K really shines with it. The puzzle became much faster after the lube application, and it does not feel like there is much gumminess.I have noticed that if I lay the puzzles dormant for a bit, the lube seems to congeal a bit between pieces, and turning is harder initially. The lube then appears to warm up and break free, and then the puzzles start to feel amazing.I had no issues with lube leak during shipment, and also have no issue in using the applicator tip. The bottle is quite a bit larger than a typical cube lube syringe, and since only so little of it is needed each time, I can see it lasting for quite a while.

An RC driver's review
Wow, so many reviews, and so few of them about RC application....here's one! I got this and put it into two of my RC vehicles, a Redcat Racing Terremoto, and a Traxxas 1:16 Grave Digger.I removed the differential on my 2wd Grave Digger to shim it and replace the chewed up pinion gear, and decided to have a look inside the diff. Seeing that it was dry, I put this oil in, and now the diff acts like a limited slip differential. So my Grave Digger is a bit more prone to traction rollover, but it accelerates quite nicely now.My 4wd Terremoto utilizes a center differential in the tranny, and it was sending a lot more of the motor's power to the front wheels. I have seen videos of people shredding their front tires, so I decided to put this oil in the center diff to prevent that happening to my Terremoto. The oil helped, it isn't so thick that it will lock the diff, but it balanced the power output between the front and rear wheels. Heck, my Terremoto even pops a wheelie on occasion now!In short, this is a good product and worth considering if you want your differential(s) to be a bit tighter.

Good for Rubik's Cube, Not Great.
I have been using this to lube my Rubik's Cube. It has worked very well and has made my cube lightning fast. Even to the point that I had to increase the tension on it because I was over rotating because of how fast it was. The only negative for this lube is that is has a very slight gummy feeling. Even when applying the minimal amount (a little goes a very long way!). Even just a couple dots and you will both hear and feel the gummy feeling. It isn't a deal breaker for me, but may be for others.

Works great as a cube lube (be careful with the cap)
Used this to lubricate the Dayan II Guhong Plus V2 3x3 Speedcube. It worked very well. This oil is silicone based, and is safe for cubes.30K weight is another commonly used differential oil; however, 50K weight differential oil doesn't wear off as quickly, and has a higher viscosity so it doesn't let the cube spin out of control as easily either. Hence, most speed cubers use 50K oil. This oil comes with a little screw-on applicator (see product image). You'll need to cut off the tip with a pair of scissors. Also, when detaching the little cap from the applicator, be very careful not to pull too hard - the plastic breaks easily. My cap detached completely from the applicator because I pulled too hard.Oddly enough, the instructions on the bottle say to "Remove diff housing cover & pull out diff case & ring gear." I was unable to locate the diff housing cover on my cube, so I just pulled a corner piece out and applied a couple drops of oil there (not too much). I put the piece back in and scrambled thoroughly. This approach worked very nicely.
