CRANE Stand Elevate Universal Stand for Laptops, Tablets and Projectors with Faux-leather Carry Bag, Black

My Cranes Stand Elevate came this past week. I am a construction Project Manager and have spent, and do spend, a lot of time in an RV. We have lived in it full time, twice while building two houses. Because of space limitations, and my wife’s aversion to clutter, a way to support my laptop and IPad used for construction management, and all other useful tasks, has been a recurring issue. I have used them several hours a day for weeks on end. But at the end of the work-day, the support system has to be dismantled and stowed to avoid home-life disagreement. I just discovered this Crane Stand and it is the answer to my dilemma, good support while using, and ease of stowage in a compact package in a small living space. We are leaving on a trip in a little over a week, so it came just in time. The pictures I attached shows it near, or on my work station; I intend to test it in various modes including standing while on this trip. PS Great packaging; the instructions are on the box with pictures to show various set-ups. The elevated mode works very well for short searches or jobs, when I don't want or need to be sitting. The stand is very stable when it has my old heavy laptop on it.

So I was looking at standup desks for my laptop and at the same time, wanted to be able to accommodate my musical gear. This is a very simple product but also very well designed and sturdy. The height is adjustable and due to this, I am able to configure it so that I can use my laptop , with a keyboard below and all is harmonious. I've used the Ergo workstation for standing work, and for me this is much better because I can use the touchpad. I put pressure on the stand with the palms of my hand, but it has a nice little flexy bounce, it gives just a little bit which makes it very comfortable. At the same time it is also very stable. My only wish is that I can pivot and turn it.

This thing folds down really flat plus you can't beat the amazing price on the lightly used one I purchased. Still a prime item with all the benefits of buying new. Thanks

Decent quality build although setting up takes a little practice.

i got one about 3 months ago as it looked good; OMG i love it and had to get one more; As its an upgraded model I had to wait for it to come back in stock but the wait is worth it. its sturdy and changes to so many angles it could not be better;

Worked like a charm to elevate a Roland XP30 keyboard above a Fantom G7. I used two of them to be on the safe side, but they are very well built, and one would likely do the job. For supporting a laptop...no problem at all.

First, a warning that this stand is too big for the 13" Macbook. The back of the laptop does not reach the rubber padding, therefore it gets scratched up. Reasonably stable, although not well made, as one of the adjustable legs quickly became stripped and no longer tightens. Also, one of the rubber edges keeps sliding off. Does the job, but there are probably better stands for half the price.
