No complaints I’ve been using this for almost two years and I’ve not had it slip or break once. Love it. I use it to hold my key organizer to a retractable lanyard.

seems to be functional and well built. works as a part of the larger key organizing system. i haven’t used it for the purpose i wanted when purchasing… my large auto key is now hanging out with the rest.

Item is as described, but is not as easy to use as is intimated. Hard to get as many keys as stated onto device, but really should only accommodate 4-5 keys max to be effective. Will continue to evaluate during the next few weeks to determine whether I will use in the future.

I bought a Keysmart a year ago for myself because it seemed like a better solution to the problem of having many keys on a key ring or carabiner. The Keysmart serves the purpose well.Keysmart is a simple device whose design is the result of good common sense. The two sides are punched from thin aircraft aluminum sheeting and finished with rounded edges and powder coating. Wear parts are stainless steel for long life. Basically, the device sandwiches keys so that it operates much like a pocket knife or multi-purpose tool. Keys are held between the aluminum sides by bushings with inside threads to which endpieces are screwed in. Keys are separated on the bushing by thin fiber washers. These make possible an adjustable friction fit for how tight or how loose the keys are held. The system works well and is expandable with the purchase of a separate kit. If the keys on one end begin to fold out too easily, you just tighten the bushing on that side using a flathead scewdriver, knife edge, your fingernail or whatever. It’s all very simple.The optional Quick Disconnect is a great way to keep your vehicle key (with fob) separately attached to your other keys. It consists of a small figure 8 twin spring-loaded carabiner with a single positive locking lever which securely locks both sides. Then, when leaving your car for service (or lending it), a twist of the lever unlocks the carabiner, allowing you to detach the vehicle keys from the Keysmart. You car keys stay together on the carabiner until you reattach to the Keysmart.The Keysmart and the Quick Disconnect work well together as a key-keeper and organizer. Because I like it so well, I bought 3 Keysmarts to give to my sons and son-in-law for Christmas this year. Guys are always hard to buy for. I enjoy giving things that I myself use and like. So far, no complaints! 😊

I purchased this to attach my Subaru fob to my KeySmart. I used to use a simple quick-release with a ball mechanism that was really easy to use. While this product provdes a bit more safety and security, the price of that is it is a real bother to quickly separate my fob from my KeySmart.

But that's okay. It didn't do all I wanted it to do, but it did the most important job--easy release from the key ring. I can deal with the rest.

I wanted a remote / keys connector that took up as little room in the pocket as possible. I only carry 2 or three keys but occasionally need to switch remotes so I need a quick connect. This is about the smallest thing I could find at about 1 1/2 inches long. I don't need any additional rings with this - the keys fit on one end and the remote on the other. If you carry a bunch of keys you'll need a ring to attach them to this device. The springs on either side are held fast with the little twist mechanism and aren't likely to come loose. Seems very sturdy. So far i'm very happy with this.
