Pure & Natural Real Vanilla Extract, with Seeds. Made with Premium Bourbon Vanilla (Standard)

I normally use Nielsen-Massey vanilla extract for home baking. I’ve had trouble finding it recently, and in stores there really is no decent equivalent. So I bought this hoping it would be of a similar quality. I am very pleased with it. It seems to have the same true and intense flavour as its rival brand, with a touch less bourbon, in my opinion. I will be buying again!

Highly concentrated and wonderful in cakes and custard.

Don’t know if it’s my imagination but even the cheffy favoured brands seem a bit weaker these days. I bought this originally when I couldn’t buy my regular premium extract. When I compared the smell and taste of this, I thought it was sweeter and more complex - did not expect that. So, when this one ran out, I ordered a second bottle. On comparing the smell of the last few mls to the new bottle, the new one seemed the same but weaker. Disappointing. I may have to go hunting for actual beans (also hard to find good beans in recent years). Will use this in conjunction with powdered vanilla to amp the flavour and provide the speckles.

This is one of the nicest vanilla essences I have ever bought. It's so nice it has even inspired me to start making my own. This is a very high quality product.

Has lent some wonderful vanilla notes to my baking and I like the fact that it is larger than the 60ml bottles you tend to buy. I would class this as a mid quality extract - but one that I would repurchase if needed.

Quality product at a good price

This product is very poor quality .... very watery. ....looked like it had been opened ... It has no smell of vanilla to and I have had to use nearly half a bottle to flavour one cake...plus hardly any seeds in the watery pale liquid..... Will not buy again I am used to much better standards of vanilla and very expensive.

What a joke. The description by the company says they keep the seeds in because of course it is better for flavour and we all like to see those flecks of seed in our home made confections. Yet i can tell you there is not a seed to be seen. There does appear to be some unattractive flakes of what i am guessing is from vanilla pods, but that is it. I think this is very expensive for the money. Surprised at the high review rating (which was why i purchased in first place). I will go back to using Nielsen Massey i think - specifically the vanilla paste as at least that 100% does have the seeds and all!
