The Best Of

The album is a nice addition to anyone's vinyl collection. Not all the usual tracks you find on the usual Nina Simone Best of albums but nice mellow tracks never the less. The Electric Blue vinyl is a really nice touch as well.I would recommend this album to anyone wanting to start listening to Nina.

Not a typical collection of her standards etc. "Black is the colour..." is a winner for me, but I think this vinyl does give you an appreciation of the breadth and depth of Simones musicalityI appreciate the vinyl for exactly what it is and some of the recordings are old, but it seems entirely fittingThe turquoise theme!, not sure the relevance to Nina but I can tell you its a beautiful vinyl and for the price of £14 is an absolute bargain.

this album was a gift and the recipient has really enjoyed it

I got this album to see if I would like her music, as I had only listen to a few of her tracks. I must say it's a good introduction to what she has to offer.

This vinyl record is under the NOT NOW label and the vinyl colour is sky blue, the mastering is good but the pressing suffers from slight static sounds and clicks.
