Jason Derulo

I would have given this CD a 5 star rating but only gave it a 4. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because it only has 9 songs on it. Every song is great with a catchy hook. I listen to it over and over. I especially love In My Head, What If, and Blinded. But all are very good. The CD would have been so much better if there were more songs. Jason reminds me of a combination of Chris Brown, Neyo and Usher. He is the whole package and wow can he dance too. The price on Amazon through CD Imports is only $7.99, which is really a great price. I will look forward to Jason's next CD.

I bought this after seeing his performance on American Idol because I was impressed with how much effort he gave. Quite simply, if you enjoy(ed) user, and are disappointed with his latest effort (Raymond vs. Raymond), then check this CD out. Even though the album is short, it gives us all a glimpse of what potential this kid has. Just enough swagger to exude confidence, yet remain humble. All the songs are sung with absolute passion."What if" has alot of heart, and "Sky's the Limit" sounds like it's sung by a guy soaring with love. "Fallen" is song over some nice guitar strings, which gives it a strong Taylor Swift sound, but Derulo manages to keep it close to mainstream R&B somehow."Ridin solo" is probably the weakest song, but very relevant to anyone who has suffered a breakup. The album finishes up with probably the strongest ballad heard by a male artist in several years: "Blind". Stunning vocals and arrangement. This track is a male version of a strong Alicia Key's ballad.Obviously "WhatchaSay" and "In My Head" are billboard hits. I have a feeling we are going to be hearing a lot more from this artist.

This CD is a wonderful buy. I loved all the songs on it and that's saying a lot because most CDs I buy have only a few songs I like. A true quality buy! I hate CDs that only have 2 or 3 songs that are good and everything else is just there to fill the rest of the CD. Jason CD doesn't do that and all 9 songs are excellent. They all make you want to get up and move to the beat! If you even like 1 of Jason songs, you would probably like the rest too! I recommend this product!

This has all his first hits that we originally fell in love with him for. Ridin' Solo, Whatcha Say, and In My Head are all on this album. Good luck listening without shakin it a little bit. #makesyouwannamove

Very glad I finally got this cd. It's a self titled album, and has some pretty good songs on it. You can tell Jason was blind in love at this time, gullible as heck, but he's genuine, and I love that about him.

Very gifted artist -- Jason has so much wonderful experience on and off the stage -- If you haven't read his Bio, you need to, as you will be very surprised of everything he has experienced is his short, young life.

The music is good but the cd was smashed at the side when coming through with Royal Mail.

Good cd

Featuring many of Jason Derulo's main hits, if you like his music, you'll like this!Particular favourites are Encore and Spotlight (Bonus Track). The music is quite similar to the previous songs but its easy listening. Dont forget also, as almost EVERY song reminds us, it's not Jason Derulo; it's JAAYSON DERUUUULO!

I've always wanted to get Jason Derulo's debut album ever since it came out, but I never got around to doing that. I'm quite happy that I did in the end. There are so many songs that bring back memories of my old friends, school and family, etc. I didn't give it the full 5 stars as I think, there are a few irrelevant tracks in the album, for example the French version of "Watcha Say", as there is already the original and the acoustic version.
