Find the soft spot on the tips!
I first purchased the 32 set and fell in love with these the first few strokes I took! I use them for adult coloring. I’ve used other brands with fine tips, and they’re also great, but I needed more colors. So I finally decided to grab the 120 set with the carry case. I did read the reviews before I bought these, and people were complaining that they were to “scratchy”. Well with fine tip markers, you have to find the “soft spot”! Just make a small mark and keep turning it until you find it. Then it’ll be very smooth. And that’s with any kind of markers like these. Have fun!**Update: I now have a total of 5 sets of the 120 sets! I have them placed throughout my home, office, and my truck so I’m never without them!

These are great!
When I saw these, I just had to buy them. I love the many colors and can use them in my coloring books. So far, the colors I've used colors well and haven't dried up or anything. Hopefully, these will last for a long while.

incredible colors, but there’s some inconsistencies with ink flow
i’m a professional artist, specializing mainly in watercolor and colored pencil. i like to use multi-colored fineliners to “crisp up” some of the edges of my work and define shapes.in the past i’ve just used the Staedtler fineliners, but found the color selection to be lacking. (they currently only offer 60 colors.)so of course, when i saw this set of Arteza fineliners, i had to try them.i attached a few photos of some swatches i did (i made the swatch sheet myself) - i used Daler Rowney’s Smooth Heavyweight paper, and there was a bit of feathering, but no bleed-through.here’s my thoughts on some pros & cons…Pros:- color range is exceptional; nearly all the colors are unique in some way, with only a select few that are similar.- hexagonal barrels don’t roll around on your desk- colors are very vibrant and smooth- there are identification numbers on the barrels (but ultimately i’d prefer the color names here as well.)Cons:- some inconsistencies in the “juiciness” of the pens; a few pens were drier and the nibs felt harder (usually the lighter colors) but others were so wet that the ink was pooling like a watercolor wash (mostly the blues & greens) — none were so dry that they didn’t write at all, however- there are very few browns to choose from- the caps can be a bit hard to open on some of them. i would suggest writing with each one before using them in a project so you can determine which of the pens are wetter. all in all, these were a great buy for $45USD! i’m very pleased with them.

Great fineliners!
I've been waiting for these to go on a good sale and finally bought them!Pros:- So. Many. Colors. I have a lot of adult coloring books with leaves to color, and a lot of fineliner don't have the selection offered by Arteza.- Sturdy case, with dividers make it easy to find the color you want- Case also has swatches on the back! I didn't notice this until I'd made my own swatches, but still cool.- Comfortable to hold- Good ink flowCons:- If you're particularly sensitive to texture, sometimes these can make the paper "pill" a little bit and become slightly rough. Not super noticeable once the ink dries, though!

If you have tremors, these grant more control
I have essential tremors, as such I NEED consistent FINE tips for control. Pencils don't stay fine tipped, I end up wasting half the pencil sharpening it back to a fine tip. These are PEEFECT. Always stay the same. The ink is vibrant. There's a wide variety of shades in the colors so I can shade. I can't exert pressure to darken color as that makes the tremors worse. The worse the tremor the less control I have. Great customer service. Two of my ink pens didn't work. They sent another set right away and said to just return mine. All I had to do to was take the item to a local cvs no packaging or boxing needed to return.

It Not What I Expect as an Quality Pens
It easy to use. BUT some or all gel pens to be expect smooth working with nice flowing, bright, lasting ink but itsn't. When I coloring on the book (same brand "Arteza") with gel pen, sometime I could see the gel pens started to dry out after little use. Plus, some gel pen were pulling up the paper depends on what type of papers, included "Arteza" coloring book. You know how the "waterpaint" when you started to painting, sometime it overdo like too much water, the paper started smear, tears or rip, same goes with gel pen too. I bought a lot other unbrand gel fine pen (but not enough colors), plus its works smooth and dry quickly without any problem. I bought same brand "Arteza" coloring book, and the gel pens needed force to get just a little ink to come out. Also: the pens don't lay the color down evenly. If you zoom in you can see a scribble effect instead of smooth color or smear. It is not super fine pen; it look like marker. Bummer.PROS: I love the metal storage case that the gel pens come in. There are three trays that stack on top of each other inside, plus strings to pull up the tray, cool. The 72 color selection is pretty nice and the colors are bright. I like the triangular shape of the gel pens. They won't roll off the table. Some of the markers do write smoothly with good ink flow and some arent.CONS: No color chart. You can see I wrote numbers on each gel pens. Then I made a color chart to match. I started to color a picture using only these gel pens.
