Great value, comfortable, sturdy, stays in place on carpet, very quiet.
Just tried this item on the carpet. It is built well, is quiet and stays in place well. I can put the machine close or further away from me to accommodate my range of motion. Recovering from total knee replacement, and seems like it will help substantially. Great while watching T.V.Calories burned seem comparable to my Nordic Track stationary bike. I have also priced other machines that seem comparable and they were higher priced. Great price for this convenient machine. One thing I think should be illustrated on the machine more clearly and in the instruction booklet are what the display is showing at each mode: time, calories, etc. But no big deal.

Not sturdy on linoleum/ hardwood floors without a mat
This equipment was easy to assemble, it's sturdy I'm not sure about sheerness. I carry it around it's not too heavy & I'm not walking clumsy with it. I like using it at the desk & on the sofa while watching tv. Right now I'm not focused on the dial what I am not happy with is it moving around while pedaling. It didn't come with a mat to prevent sliding on linoleum floor. On carpet it's better but that's when I'm at work. I hoped it had suction cups to prevent it from moving.

Works well
The resistance dial is good to adjust. Pedalling is comfortable.

Great pedaler!
I initially wanted to buy a more expensive pedaler for under my desk at work. I decided to try this one first to see if I would even use it before spending money on a “good” one. I’m so glad I bought this one. It’s so quiet, and the pedaling is so smooth. You can adjust the resistance to super easy or very hard. Other reviews have said it jerks when you pedal, but that goes away when you adjust your position and adjust the resistance. This no-frills pedaler is all you need. Perfect! Easy to assemble by myself. I use it every day at work!

Temper Expectations
I've had a full-size spin bike for a while now, but finally had to admit the ratio of space being taken up-to-hours of use was growing increasingly inequitable. However I still wanted the option of an indoor cycling workout so looked into these under-desk bikes.Of course these are first and foremost a tool for rehab and recovering from injury, so my non-injured and apparently incredibly powerful legs were sorely disappointed at first go. Low resistance seemed pointless, and at first I thought either my tension knob was broken or models in this price range didn't really offer proper resistance. Then I figured out you have to really crank it up, far beyond what you think should be necessary, and then you'll notice a difference. But then there's a problem with the unit hopping all over the place because there's nothing at all anchoring it to the floor.I think I've solved both problems with ankle weights, which add resistance at the lowest setting where it's easiest to stabilize the unit, and also seem to create a better center of gravity to keep things in place at higher tensions as well. And the higher setting is better for an arm workout on a table where it would be easier to hold it in place.Additionally, even at low resistance I thought the pedaling action seemed very jerky. I opened it up and was surprised to see a small ceramic or iron wheel that already had areas of rust, so that's something to worry about at a later date. But I sprayed some silicone lubricant on it and that seems to have fixed the jerking a little.I agree with everyone else, it's a bit of a mystery what each mode is (Time, Distance (although the manual thinks it's speed) Calories possibly (though not sure how that's calculated without a heart rate monitor), and a step counter) but I don't keep track of that stuff anyway. So it's lost some stars because it needed tweaking and adding other elements to live up to my expectations. Having never tried a cheaper unit, I can only assume they are even worse. What it comes down to is this is definitely an acceptable compromise for my needs over the full-size, extremely bulky and heavy bike.

Unhappy with product
This moves as you try to use it. Not stable Piece of equipment to get the benefits it is intended for. It was more of a struggle to use.

Good price
I used this for physical therapy following a knee replacement, and it works great. I had home physical therapy and my therapist brought one. I bought the same one she had. Just be careful, after using it in a while, the pedals will unscrew and fall off. It’s hard to get them screwed back on once they fall off, so keep an eye on them and tighten them up when necessary.
