Double Edge Safety Razor for a Smooth Wet Shave

Ive had this for 2 years, shaves great. I think for the $20 i paid for you cant go wrong. Heavy duty feel to it like the one my dad had from the air force back in the 50s.

I love it!!! Heavy duty, that's for sure. Not taking anything away from my Edwin Jagger model, but as someone(s) else said, this model has more blade exposure, which I need because I shave every day and have a tough wiry beard. I just retired, so I don't have to shave twice a day anymore, which was a real chore. Plus the thing looks like it was hand forged by a guy named Og over a charcoal fire in his cave in the mountains somewhere. I just may purchase another one!!! As an aside, the Derby blades are OK, but the Shark blades last longer, for me anyway.

Worth every penny and a excellent value. 100 blades and a top quality razor for under $32 is a steal you cant beat it. My face has thick hairs and a 5 blade razor is no match after just one shave. This razor shaves my face clean and it costs me pennys to shave each time I use both straight razors and safety razor both shaves are great save time save money buy a safety razor.

I have bought have a dozen DE razors, and this is the best. Close and easy on the skin. This is a pleasure to use, and this is my number one.

Just to say first: I'm female, so I use this razor for shaving legs, bikini area, and armpits.I've used it a couple times and it does the job, but I think the name-brand razors do a better job of getting a close shave without shaving off my skin, which I have done a few time with this razor. But to be fair, those razors are designed to prevent that, while this razor is just one blade and has no protective measure against slicing off the skin.It comes in the box you can see in the first picture I included, but it doesn't come with a blade, so you'll need to get those separately. I got a box of 100 blades for about $13, so that's the nice thing about this razor - it's cheap to replace the blades. I've use one blade twice already, and it's still pretty sharp, and it's easy to clean, so it may last longer than the name-brand razors you spend $5 per new blade head.One thing that isn't a good feature, although it may be the blade brand I bought (I don't know if other blades are the same size) is that the ends of the blades stick out the sides of the razor (see second picture). So if you're not careful you can easily cut yourself, although the ends aren't sharp like the blade edges, but they're still razor thin (3rd picture), so be careful.Either way, I'm happy with this razor and the blades, and I'm happy to spend $13 for 100 more blades rather than $25 for 5.
