Nice watch and perfect gift for wife.

Casio quality, low price, excellent stainless steel case and bracelet and a gorgeous subtle sunburst opal/pink dial. The curved rectangular/tonneau case is elegant and the curves flow directly into the custom bracelet, which is a nice touch. There are only four indices on this watch (12, 3, 6, and 9 positions), so if you're after visual precision at each minute, you won't have that on this watch. I was after function but also fashion with this watch and it does not disappoint. It wears nicely with jeans and more up-scale work clothes. It has a precise and reliable quartz movement, so no maintenance costs like on mechanical watches, just pop in a new battery every couple of years!

Bought this for my wife who needed an inexpensive watch. She loves this watch. The bracelet adjusts by removing links that are held in place with flag shaped pins that are removed from the links. These pins are blind and cannot be removed by tapping from the opposite side of the band. I have done this for numerous watches over the years, and these were the most difficult to remove of any watch bracelet I have adjusted. I have lots of tools and had to oil the pins, slide them out partially with an awl and then use fine pliers to gently wiggle them out. My standard method of tapping them out using a slotted block was innefective. -1 star for DIY difficulty. Would love to hear if there's a trick for doing this easier. Again, my wife loves the watch. It serves her purpose, and brought a smile to her face. Priceless.
