Some of the most potent pepper spray you can legally acquire
I did a nonsense amount of research before picking this up, including talking to police instructors and professionals in the chemical deterrent industry. This company makes some of the best that exists. Don’t compromise on your pepper spray — there could be a lot at stake. It costs a bit (and a bit more if you also buy an inert one to test) but it’ll be worth it. Many of those cheap ones are marginally above Tabasco levels of hot. This one is their smallest afaik, and very convenient to take on a walk. I’d prefer the soda can sized one, but it’s not nearly as portable as this one. Pick the one that works in your context and (ideally) get an inert one too so you can get comfortable using it. The inert one should be cheaper.

Makes me feel better as the dad
Hard to write a review for a product I haven't used, BUT...I have college daughters. This was part of the kit I gave them. Super bright flashlight, mace, and a very loud screamy device. I already taught them self defense, and common sense, but you know... we can't be there.

Hightly recommend Defense Tech. especailly after pathetic performance of other lesser quality brands (I tried spraying them!)
After trying other brands - I'd NEVER feel safe with them. They hardly spray at all. You might as well not bother. But Defense Technology is SIGNIFICANTLY different in Quality and ease of use (flip to press). HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is small to fit in pocket/purse/arm rest of car. Discrete.

Great trusted product
Haven’t deployed this OC, but we use this product at work and is used frequently and seems to work well, when this product hits an inmate they aren’t in a fighting mood anymore

Love the flip-top
I was recommended to have this MK-6 pepper spray at work. It has a large clip and easily fits in my front pocket. I love the flip-top design protecting the 'fire' button, giving me confidence that there will be no accidental spraying.
