Umbrella is stable in windy situations which is why I got the umbrella. The umbrella auto opens but does not have the auto close feature so was disappointed in that. But on the other hand if you do happen to hit the auto open button by accident in heavy down pours the umbrella will not close so not a bad thing.

Large, sturdy and well made. Can easily fit 2 adults to shelter from rain. They’re pricey for umbrellas so I wait for the price to drop and then buy. I got mine for $20.

Very well-made

This is my second Totes umbrella. My 1st one I used happily for a few years until it finally needed to be replaced. One of the inner springs broke. This unit is pretty nice. The automatic opening and closing system feels nice. The size of the canopy is a good size to cover myself and 1 additional person. The only thing I don’t like as much is the handle which feels plastic-like instead of a more solid polymer.

I got this umbrella before a big rain storm that happened the next day, and its big enough while also being compact to cover me and a big bag pack, other simimal size umbrellas will just not cover my bag so it ends up getting wet. Pretty resistant to wind.

This is my third of this very umbrella model in 30 years. Each of the predecessors lasted 15 years on average. Both of them endured high mountain winds, and still worked when I replaced them, even with a few ribs all wonky after enduring hundreds of wind storms each.People marvel when I use these....like all umbrellas, point them into the wind. BUT when the wind suddenly shifts...trouble....the umbrella goes inside out. So, just point it into the wind again, and all is fixed and they keep lasting for years.The build quality hasn't changed at all. They are just superb.
