Combination Lock for Gym Lockers – Master Lock Locker Combination Padlock, Pack, Blue – The Ideal Combo Lock for School/Gym Locker Security

I needed to purchase a new lock and wanted to try a different style since I already had the typical popular Masterlock that everyone has. I wasn't able to choose the color but I was very happy with the silver one I received. It feels like it's good quality with easy to read magnified numbers. When you turn the dial, you can FEEL when you're on the number which is great. The diameter of the circular part of the lock (with the numbers) is a little on the bigger side but not too big in my opinion and the size of the shackle is the same diameter as the typical popular Masterlock ones. Even though you can't pick your own combo, the combo I received was not hard to remember. No issues with the lock opening and closing - smooth operation. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would purchase again if I needed another lock!

I purchased this lock in the hopes of giving my teenage son the opportunity to lock his items while at school. After many locks that turned out to be broken due to defects, we finally ended up with this one that is the right size for the locked type. The wheel itself is functional and easy to understand. I like the added feature of using a blind sided function to block out the code from the side view. The weight is perfect and the lock seemed durable.

Oh, how I needed this one. Numbers are large and I don't need to put on my readers. Lock is strong and works well. Good weight...very sturdy. Fits the locker at the gym. Huge numbers!

I read a lot of the reviews that said they had trouble opening the lock. I decided to buy this lock anyway, just to see. It's a good brand and it is inexpensive. Anyway, I too had trouble opening it, and it would only open once every 4 tries, despite the fact that I was doing it right. Well I figured out a trick. Every time you go to the number, you go past the number 0.5. So think of each tick as being 1, and then in between each tick is 0.5. So say it was 12 - 30 - 01 as the combo. You turn it right full rotations 3 times to restart it, then you turn right to 0.5 past 12, which is really like 11.5, then you turn it left to 0.5 past 30, which is like 30.5, then you turn it right 0.5 past 01, which is like 0.5.I hope that makes sense because that is how I figured it out. I guess it matches my blue swim shorts. Haha!

This is a strong durable lock and works very well. Super easy to use, just turn the dial to the combination and it clicks open. Works well for lockers or storage units. I've had this for over 4 years and have not had any issues. It still looks brand new and I'm sure this will last me another 4 years and probably another after that! It is no more or less sensitive than any other lock I've used regarding if it needs to be exactly on the right tick or not, just a classic lock.

I use to love these locks as they last a long time but had to stop using them a while back when my cash kept disappearing everytime I went to the gym. At first I thought I was not keeping track of my spending then one day I got some money from the ATM right before a workout and went for coffee afterwards only to find my cash was gone again. A friend told me to watch a YouTube video to see how fast these locks could be overcome. I watched a video that showed a person taking a piece from an aluminum can and wedging it into the lock where it opens and watched the lock pop open.I have since used other Master locks which I have lost the keys to while working out, and other combination locks that broke after being dropped. When I seen this lock, it said the company had included an anti-shimming feature which was basically a few ridges which would snag a piece of aluminum shoved into the opening to push the locking mechanism open. Although I seen another video which showed this, too could be overcome no reasonably affordable lock is truly ableto stop a determined thief. But for the price, and the new anti-shim feature I am back to using a lock that is slightly harder to break into. Apparently all these locks are for is to keep the honest people honest. And I no longer leave my wallet (or any valuables) in the locker.

Combination does not work. Probably why it was on sale. I am guessing there was a mix up and many of the locks got the wrong codes for the locks. Make it on sale so it is more of a hassle to return than what it's worth.
