Our`s is different – designed to give you the best experience with crystal-clear calls and simple, direct dialing. Great Call Rates They`re not free, but at only 30c per minute in most countries (over 130), calls are pretty cheap. See our call rates image above to check out specific rates for where you`re going. How it works The SIM pack you receive from us will have a link to our activation website; log on and tell us the date you`d like your service to start. We`ll activate the SIM for one month from the date you request. The service will finish one calendar month after the activation date. If you wish to use it for longer, we can extend the service on a month-by-month basis for $50/month. Each month you`ll continue to get the same great rates, free texts and free data usage. Any call charges (if you make some calls) will be billed to your credit card. Handsets The SIM requires an unlocked device (or a T-Mobile handset). We now ship a multi-size SIM which fits all handsets. About Mobal We`ve been providing cellular solutions to travelers since the first cell phones were invented in the late 80`s, with offices in the US, Europe and Asia. Great buy when traveling to Europe for fast texts but slow data.
Overall, this card was adequate for the money. Upon receiving the card, I followed the instructions given to activate the card when I was ready to travel. The instructions were easy to follow and in about 3 days, my card was activated. All I had to do was activate it online. When I inserted the SIM card into my cell phone, it took a couple minutes but eventually I had full capabilities. Now, I used this SIM card during my travels to Sweden recently in my iphone 5S and since it's only rated to 128 kilobits per second, here's the apps I used and the speeds I noticed. Obviously, speeds were different whether I was in a city or in rural Sweden:Messages: FastSafari: SlowYelp: somewhat fastMaps: SlowSnapchat: Fast at timesFacebook: Fast at timesFB Messenger: Fast at timesFast = Less than ten seconds of download timeSo most of the time, I was able to get data but it just took some time. I would buy this card again when I decide to go back overseas. I made no calls to avoid the 30 cents/min charge.

Great Multi Country Use for the Price
For the price, this card was great. I was traveling to multiple countries so having a continuous phone number and coverage was great. You are only on a 2G type of network but I was using it mostly for google maps (I rent cars and this is a huge must have for me) and for Viber. I didn't really have any problems with it and when I did customer service was great. A few times I had issues connecting to a network and called customer service and they were able to tell me how to change the settings to get to a network connection. The free texting was great. Easy way to stay in contact with family back home and new people you meet along the way. And the phone call prices were reasonable if needed. I also was able to use my phone to get Uber when I was stranded by the metro system when it shut down in Amsterdam-twice! So having a cheap connection is well worth it. When I wanted to upload videos I would have to wait for a wifi connection, but updated a photo post on Facebook was no problem. Overall, it's worth having for the price.

This was perfect for my trip to Singapore and Dubai
This was perfect for my trip to Singapore and Dubai. It worked in both countries decently well, which was exciting as most other SIM cards I found would only work in one but not the other. Others on my trip who decided to forgo cell service always were asking after wifi passwords and the wifi sometimes wouldn't work, while I always had connection. The service was slower in Dubai than Singapore but that wasn't due to the SIM card itself but rather just the service in the area. The biggest negative is that it does take two business days to activate, I hadn't realized that until almost too late so I didn't have service for the first day of my trip. I definitely would buy this again if I needed data and texting like I did for this trip - the wide variety of countries is amazing.

Great Purchase!! Saved my butt in Italy & London.
Activated in a day. Set up your account with a credit card with no foreign transaction fees. The billing office is in the UK.In the past, I've downloaded offline maps from Google Maps, which is very handy for locating where you are and which direction you are going without any data, but it is limiting in terms of directions. With the SIM card, I was able to use Google maps to make sure taxis where taking the most direct routes, map buses, subways, and walking directions. Yes, data speed is slower, so internet browsing took awhile, but I didn't really need that while walking around.I found the combo of Yelp App and Google Maps to be extremely handy. I used Yelp to confirm addresses and find the closest restaurant or pharmacy and then mapped the destination with Google Maps. With the SIM card, I was able to go on instagram (it takes a few seconds for each pic to load) and play mobile games.

It worked fine without any problems
I used this primarily in Dubai & India, for data (google GPS on my iphone, email, text and whatsapp). It worked fine without any problems. Note: it is 3G speed not 4G. Make sure that you activate the sim atleast one day prior to your departure. It could take two working days to activate (more if it is a weekend). Overall great experience & economial compared to buying travelers plan in dubai for one week. Phone call rates are also not bad, since you pay by usage.

I purchased this card to be used on a three ...
I purchased this card to be used on a three month trip around the world. I knew that it would not work in a couple of my countries in SE Asia but was excited for it to work in the nine weeks that I would be in India and Europe. I was having issues with it in India (I'm sorry that I can't remember now what the problems were) but when my guide used his laptop to investigate using this sim in India he found that there would be charges that I hadn't realized. I ended up getting a local sim card. Once I got to Europe this card was fabulous and absolutely invaluable. I relied on navigation on my cell constantly and this card provided the data that I needed. Although now that I'm thinking about it there was an issue where I had to keep resetting my cell because it wouldn't connect to the internet (reset - ejecting the sim card and putting it back in). This was quite frustrating when I was driving and relying on nav. I often has to reset my phone several times a day. I don't know if this was a card issue or a cell issue (although I haven't had to reset since I've been back home).

Global Sim
So, I usually buy a different sim in each country I visit. I came across this sim and thought I would give it a try. I have used the sim in a few different countries, UAE, Malaysia and the phone worked great. I had to manually setup the configuration the first time, but since the phone has worked in each country with no issues. It’s very convenient when travelling and I like the fact you can keep a US number for others to text from the states.I only have one issue with the sim, the number provided was being called all the time. I probably received 10 calls from automated services in a 30 day span. It was really annoying receiving computer generated calls all the time.
