Features: The Squadron Series weighted chess set offers a 4.1" King with a diameter of 1.8" and all chess pieces are Double Weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base. Each of the chess pieces have thick green felt on their bases. The dark chess pieces are made of Ebony Wood and the lighter chess pieces are made of Boxwood. Design & Build Quality: All of the chess pieces bases have hand-selected thick green felt that feels luxurious & also provides for better stability. The thick green felt precisely envelops the base of each chessmen.
