I didn’t like it at first as it’s too similar to a Kydex holster for a pistol and I’m a leather holster man myself. Nevertheless, after trying several others that I at first like but broke very quickly this is the one. I works great is durable and easy on and off.It costs a little more but it’s already lasted longer than any of the several other plastic ones I purchased. I think this is the way to go.

Great sheath for a leatherman. Fits perfectly and the belt clip is tough. Comfortable to wear all day. Great quality.

I have been wearing a weatherman wave for years now and consider it essential equipment - wallet, keys, phone...leatherman! The problem was that the belt cases kept wearing out...leather, nylon, didn't matter - it was a little frustrating. Now that I am using this kydex sheath it looks like my days of replacing sheaths on a regular basis is over. This thing is sturdy, holds the tool very securely, can be cleaned, adjusted, and after a long time of use still looks brand new. I wish I would have gotten this sooner!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this or not - was using a pancake style leather sheath which is really nice because it keeps the tool really close to you and therefor very little movement when running for instance. This sheath looks cool, seems very well built and is comfortable. It can slide around a bit on the belt. The kydex can rub against a wall and pick up paint marks on it. I really really like the retention fit. The tool feels like it clips into the sheath which is very cool. It always stays open to put the tool back in, which is something leather doesn't always do. Made in America :). This fits my Wave +, but my original Wave is loose in this case.*UPDATE* I ended up busing the clip off by getting into too tight a spot and pushing myself down breaking the clip. I inquired with the company via their website if I could obtain a new clip and they happily sent me a new clip free of charge. So i'm using this case again for my Wave+. Love it.

I have had many kydex holsters for my handguns and when holstered, they make a very distinctive "click" sound that let's you know they're secure. This holster does not have that. I don't know if it's just because it's a leatherman holster and the tool doesn't have the right grooves to latch onto or if it's a cheaper made product but I miss the sound.Secondly, obviously I know it's not real carbon fiber and it's just a print or a wrap on the kydex, but using this sheath for less than a week and the finish has already chipped and scratched off in two places. Which isn't really a huge deal, it doesn't effect the usage at all but it's a little aggravating for it to happen after less than a week of work with it.I also had to use the file of my leatherman to smooth the top edge of the belt clip because the sharp edge was cutting my hip.The tension and ride height adjustability of kydex holsters and sheaths is a great bonus. Plus, it seems to be more durable than leather or molle. (Though it is a bit more expensive)Pros:DurableHighly adjustableTool specific (So you know you get a perfect fit)Cons:A bit on the expensive side for a multi-tool sheathFinish wears away easilyQA seems to be lacking due to the sharp clip edge.Overall I am happy with the sheath and so far it's been a solid way to carry my leatherman every day. If not, I'd be better off getting another cheap leather one from Amazon for $12 that lasts a couple years. -1/2 star for having to modify the clip myself and -1/2 star for the finish wearing away so fast. Solid 4 star product, would recommend.

Awesome!! I have been carrying this thing everywhere with me and still holding up. It is worth the money trust me !! My Leather man wave + fits perfectly it is nice and secure.

This is a great little sheath for my Leatherman. It slides right into the sheath. You can tighten or loosen the grip and customize for your model. The clip makes it easy to slide on and off. It is very sturdy and won't fall off your belt. I use this all of the time when woriking outside.

Purchased one of these a few years back for a Gerber suspension, the sheath for that one is still kicking, the tool… not so much.So I recently replaced my Gerber multi-tool with a leatherman wave courtesy of my employer and since I had such good luck with the last one, I bought this sheath for it.Retention of the tool is great (as expected).I have no reason to believe that it’d be any less durable than the other one I bought that I absolutely put through the wringer. And most of all, it looks cool, and as we all know looking cool is a critical part of the job.
