The extension feature of this pruner is smooth and easy to use and the hand grip control of the cutting blade is easy to use. I would say it is best for picking fruit or cutting small limbs. I got it to pick lemons so I don’t know how well it works on larger limbs. It works great for not dropping the fruit as long as you have the fruit on the left side of the blade being the right side has the holder otherwise the fruit just drops to the ground. It’s a 5 star tool that’s getting 4 because of the items description. Talks about including a saw blade. My 1st package seemed like it was somebody else’s return, shipping labels were placed over old removed labels, tool was new unused but had no labeling on the tool, just the tool in the box and no saw blade. I contacted seller and they said the will replace the item missing. A few days later I came home to another 6’ box with a new pruner in it with labeling like it was fresh off the shelf but again no saw blade. I offered to return the original pruner but was told to keep it. I figure I’ll just go to hardware store to get a saw blade if I need it. I primarily got the pruner for the pruning head. I don’t blame the seller. It is probably the robot or packing person at Amazon warehouse/shipping facility that doesn’t realize the saw blade in the bin goes with the saw. I don’t know if they’ll change the description and images or not. Yours may or may not include the saw blade.

Does a great job of cutting hard to reach branches.

Don’t buy this item. It is junk. It broke after I made about 20 cuts with it. It is so lightweight that the pole is not strong enough to support the length and it snapped inside the handle!!!Also the saw blade was not included in the packaging.I’m so disappointed

Definitely not heavy duty, but works great for what we needed, reaching to trim some small weeds/plants around pier that are too big for weed eater or out of reach of weed eater.

I love these. I have a shorter set and this longer set. They are light weight, easy to use and super convenient. Please make note that they are for light pruning. For soft stems and up to 1/2 inch hard wood stems. Some people purchase light pruners such as these and then give a bad review because they won’t cut one inch hardwood branches duh. They work great as intended. Would highly recommend.

Concept is great but only good for small twigs. Blade is not sharp. Dulls quickly

I really like this, it cuts really well. The saw is sharp, although I've not used that function yet. Some were complaining about the ability to cut bigger branches. But for me it was great to prune hard to reach shrubs. If you are cutting something more than about 3/4 " it will obviously have problems but I am cutting things smaller than 1/2". It works great for me. I would buy again. The quality may not be industrial grade but for me it is perfect.

This item arrived right on time but the bloody instructions are in Chinese. I can not figure out how to use it! I am mad as hell about this!
