LAARUMI Ready to Use Natural Clay, Filtered and Without Stones, A1 Quality (Approx 1KG)

Product arrived in good strong cardboard box n wrapped in several layers of packing. I had ordered it early n ven I opened it after 1 month, the clay was still fresh n soft n malleable.Last year I had used fevicryl air dry clay to make Ganpati but I find the air dry clay dries too fast. Kids cant make sculptures that fast. I found this clay (mud) very easy to use n even if it dries a little while using, a little brush with water makes it soft again. So kids can make their sculptures at their convenience n re-do certain parts if unsatisfied.It took 1 day to dry enough so v could paint it with fevicryl acrylic colours. Apply white paint first everywhere so the actual colours dont get absorbed. Let the white coat dry. Then apply whatever colours u want.It was very convinient to use during covid days n I recommend it to all to use. V immersed it in a tub of water at home n it dissolved within a few hours. Mixed it in garden later.I dont know cost of clay in market but I found this product value for money considering its good quality, ease of use n helping my son to make Ganpati to satisfy his urge to celebrate the festival without exposure to outside shops or visarjan crowds.

It was very moist when it came in the package, best to let it dry for some time under the fan and then use. The clay is also reusable so thats a plus point good for beginners under a budget 👍

It was too wet on opening, but could get required shape easily. It is clean and dirt free. Good for making statues for puja. It is worth the money, even though it is little high on cost side

First of all, I placed an order for ten quantities of one kilogram each. Rather than receiving ten separate packs, I received two consolidated packs of five kilograms each, as can be seen in the picture. However, this mightn't have been the issue until the clay was open and worked upon with. The clay was completely saturated with water and was all wet. Seems like the seller "Naveen Industries - Delhi (Vamanship) purposely added water to increase the weight and dupe the gullibe buyers. The entire sculpture ended up with HUGE and MAJOR CRACKS despite being very ccautious and adopting proper techniques for sculpting. A very PATHETIC EXPERIENCE. Don't know if other sellers are as reliable, but DO NOT go for THIS particular seller.

Only thing I was sad is about the color of clay. It said terracotta color (brown) but it was dark grey color clay. I was very happy with the clay otherwise. Moulds very easily with hands.No stones or grains as promised in description. Air drying did not lead to cracks either as mounding and finishing was easy.I handmade ganesh as attached in pic. Approx 6-7 inches in height.

Was very much satisfied with the product for the first time...very easy for my 8 year son to model..but on repeat order I received a red clay which is not of the same quality as the clay cracks very easily even on slight drying
