Works perfectly and is easy to setup. I have a very old house with thick brick walls. Our router is upstairs and the wifi downstairs has always been weak and spotty, which means our Ring cameras and doorbells don't always work. Since setting this up there's been absolutely no drop in wifi anywhere in the house, or outside! Can still stream in the garden because of where I placed it. I bought a cheaper generic Wifi repeater for £12 before this one, sent it back immediately and this one was not much more expensive at £19 but 100% worth it! It's also small and much more aesthetically pleasing, looks like a plugin air freshener

For my purposes, this has been an excellent purchase. For months I've been having issues with respect to my Ring Video Doorbell singal strength as my WiFi signal only just reaches the downstairs hallway and isn't strong enough to maintain a reliable connection outside.In that respect the AC750 notably improved my Ring doorbell's connectivity. The signal became more stable, resulting in clearer and smoother video feeds and for this specific purpose, the router proved effective and brought tangible value to my security setup.It was also easy and intuitive to set up and configure through the TP Tether app. I was up and running in a few moments and I think most anyone could set this up if they're comfortable enough using a smart phone.However, it's important to note its limitations. The router's range is somewhat restricted, struggling to provide a strong signal in larger areas of my home. This might affect its ability to extend coverage significantly beyond a certain point and with that in mind I feel it would be suited to a smaller home. Additionally, while it's a budget-friendly option, its speed may not match higher-priced alternatives. So users should set their expectations accordingly, especially if they have demanding online activities.The inclusion of an ethernet port though at this price point is a great addition and this would make a great option for adding a pseudo wired connection to a bedroom or office for a PC or device with no or limited wireless capability.The biggest problem I have with the product and this extends to all TPs products from light bulbs to routers is the requirement of a TP account for all their products. This isn't an issue for me personally but it does raise some concerns with respect to privacy and the longevity of the product should TP online services be shut down in the future and is worth considering before you make a purchase.

I bought this to improve our home Wi-Fi coverage, mainly for our outdoor Blink cameras, smart bulbs, Ring doorbell, and to get a better signal out to the summer house and back garden. The app also lets you manage signal strength and connected devices, which is a helpful feature.The performance has been excellent. The TV upstairs now streams without any buffering, and the Eufy camera at the back of the house has gone from a weak, unstable signal to a strong and steady connection. I was also impressed that the 5GHz band reaches into the garden, something I didn’t expect. Devices now automatically connect to whichever signal is strongest, and we’ve had no issues with lag or dropped connections since installing it.I’ve also made use of the Ethernet port to connect my desktop PC, which had an inconsistent signal before. It now has a solid and stable connection, even though it’s quite far from the main router. The extender supports different modes including access point and mesh, and you can also choose the power level depending on how far you want the signal to reach.Build quality is solid and the design is discreet. It feels well made and not cheap or flimsy. Once it’s in place, it quietly gets on with the job and you don’t have to think about it again.For the price, it’s great value. It does exactly what I needed and more, solving all the Wi-Fi issues we were having inside and out. TP-Link has always been a reliable brand in my experience, and this product continues that trend.
