Made very well, and sturdy! Excellent craftsmanship. Excellent price!
This awesome set: Gorget (front and rear collar halves); and Pauldrons set (for two separate shoulders, right and left, interchangeable) is well made and sturdy; the metal gauge is sturdy, and the entire effect of all armor together at once is handsome and authentic in design. All (actual bovine animal leather) straps, firmly fastened to its place; sturdy 'antiqued' brass metal buckles that are both functional and attractive. I am very satisfied with this transaction! Yet I am more than satisfied with this armor. It is better than I had anticipated, actually, at the price I paid. I collect medieval arms and armor (modern reproductions, I should specify. I'm no billionaire) with that taken into consideration, I've seen both well-crafted armor and not so well crafted. This armor is good! Well worth the cost! --- *From a couple of the comments I read before I bought this (these) item(s), where I realized that the buyer just may not have been aware: that armor should be too big for you to comfortably wear without an aketon aka gambeson which is a padded soft under-armor "jacket" designed as "soft armor" to absorb blows received through plate armor and chainmail. Further over the aketon, the knight wore a shirt of mail; usually a long or 3/4 sleeve shirt. Plan accordingly.

Kind of small but the shoulder pads are okay.
The shoulder armor goes down far enough to cover a decent chunk of the bicep. I had another costume arm armor that came with its own shoulder pauldrons. It was too short so it left a 2 inch gap between the rembrace and elbowcop. So this one being longer with a few extra lames fixed the problem. Along with the bottom strap used to hold the loose rembrace onto your arm because they other armor maker (nauticalmart im looking at you) forgot to add straps to it. UGH. The gorget itself is kinda flimsy, I have a thick muscle/fat neck so it felt like I was going to guillotine myself but it fits somewhat. Kinda chokes me. if I try to twist my neck.*edit* added pictures. Shoulder pauldrons are perfect (for my extended biceps that I increased by 3 inches). Gorget is good but it still pretty tight for the neck. For tall people, you'll have some problems covering your back armor as it will leave a massive ugly gap. But it does look pretty good otherwise.

Easy to bend not for hard fighting!
Very nice product its a great deal for the price and really ties my gear together as a place holder for some more suitable pauldrons the gorget is ok hard to take on and off however with a friend or squire its no problem my only true complaint is the cheap leather but hey i went for a cheap product over all i give it 5 stars for honesty and fast shipping

Difficult to clasp by yourself
As the title says, this is difficult to clasp by yourself. It can be done but is easier when it someone else doing it. I bought this to cover the gap to my neck left by the cuirass I bought which it covers very well. The metal is pretty thin and I could easily bend it, which leads me to my next point. It came at an odd angle, and I had to bend it to fit better, but because the metal is thin, this was easy. The pauldrons I have tightened all the at and they are pretty loose. I think this would be better if you wore them over a quilted under jacket and chain shirt but with just a T-shirt or hoodie they were too loose and I’m 6’1” 250, and I’m 21 inches across at the broadest part of my shoulders.

For the price its great.
The spaulders are excellent and well worth the money. The gorget is small and needs some work to fit right but can be made usable very easily. I bought this for the spaulders and not the gorget as such I am very happy with this set, it does everything I need it to.

The Construction and Return
So first off, the pauldrons require a lot of work to make usable. The strap that attaches the pauldrons to the gorget wraps around the top of the gorget and is riveted to the bottom of the gorget. That leaves about 6 inches of of the strap free to move around when the pauldrons are attached. What I noticed, when i wore it all, was that the pauldrons would not stay still on my arms and would often slide to the front of my body. According to some other people in the reviews, you'll have to bend the pauldrons to better fit your arms and shoulders. I wasn't about that life and so submitted a return. This has turned out to be a whole other problem. I got a mailing label which is just an empty space for my address, their address filled in, and then a barcode of my return number. There is no prepaid postage on the mailing label. I went ahead and stopped at UPS which quoted me $700+ dollars to ship to India. Told them no and then went to USPS. USPS wanted $90 to ship to India which is almost twice the cost I paid for this item. So I decided that I'll just hold on to them, however, I've already been issued a refund. So as it stands right now I'm kind lost on what to do next.
