Works as designed
Good quality, so far I used it to remove a stubborn cv joint from my Rzr, perfect tool for that. I’m sure I’ll find other uses.

Worked great for removing a seized swingarm bolt
Bought to remove a stuck swingarm bolt from a vintage motorcycle. It worked great and I was able to get the bolt out after un-successfully trying all other options. Overall, the product seems to be built well - not super cheaply. Solid buy so far

It does what it says it does
I bought this specifically for removing ball joints on a Polaris UTV, it did the job perfectly. I do have a couple of complaints, however...1: My BIGGEST complaint, the action of using the slide hammer will sometimes cause the adjusting screw to back off, which causes the pliers to let go of whatever you're working on.2: I really wish it didn't have a hinge in the handle as it makes it very difficult to work with. You have to keep the thing from flopping around AND try to use the slide hammer at the same time.3: The hinge pin likes to fall out, another reason I wish it weren't hinged.4: The hammer is fairly light, and the stroke is fairly short, so you have to do a lot of work to get anything off that doesn't want to come off.I saw other reviews complain that the pliers are very soft metal, mine are marked "CR-MO" or Chrome-Molybdenum, which is a very hard steel (on paper). As I said above, I was pulling ball-joints. I had several instances where the threads on the ball studs wiped off leaving a smooth stud, and the pliers were undamaged. I do not think the pliers are soft metal.I will try to update this review if they break or if I have any issues with them.

Got the job done
Bought it to remove bellhousing dowels on a small block Chevy engine. I like that the slide hammer can be swapped to other vice grips.I'm sure I'll find other uses in the future.

Works well but could be better.
Looks just like to photos. I got this for pulling blades out of a paper machine and it works really well when I've got blades that are stuck. What I don't like is the pin holding the slide hammer to the vice grips is very loose and can pop out pretty easy. The last thing I need is dropping the pin or any other part into my machine. The slide hammer attachment also only rotates in one direction to the vice grips so if its in a tight space and you need to move it up/down to fit it may only move side to side based on how the vice grips are positioned.
