These samples are worth the money. They are a very nice size and are a good beginner set to igneous rocks.

We ordered three sets of rocks (sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous), and all three were exactly what we were looking for. They were also all just really cool, and the price was very reasonable.

The rocks are accurate, big, and beautiful! There's a small description on each pack you buy. I use a tea box with compartments to store them. I use these rocks with the Montessori-friendly Waseca materials on rock cycles, it is a great addition to visual the rocks cycle.

My daughter used this for her science fair experiment about freezing different classifications of rocks. Awesome set, we got two of each of the igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. Unfortunately a few of the rocks were hard to identify based on the description alone so we had to google a bunch of them to make sure we were going to place the correct labels on them. Other than that stellar service and product!

Outstanding samples (about the size of the "o" in an "ok" hand sign), rocks were unlabeled but easy to identify, and price was my reason for buying.

These are great size rocks for our rock lover 6-year old to actually hold and examine. We are really enjoying this set! We bought all three sets to compare the different types of rocks.

used theres for a geology lesson with my students and they loved it. getting to see each type of rocks and learning how they were all formed was awesome having all three main types of rocks.
