This is a great value shower mixer, the chrome finish is excellent and overall the build quality feels good, it was very easy to install, the rubber washers and all the parts you would need to install the shower mixer are supplied, it took about 2 minutes to install, you just have to be careful and don't overtighten the nuts, as you will possibly break the rubber washers, it fitted directly on to the existing pipe work, with no leakages.The operation of the shower works as expected, the shower flow is excellent and very adjustable, the temperature control on the right side, the preset is a good temperature, when you increase the temperature it will go all the way as hot as you want, I have had mixers before where they won't give you the maximum temperature past the preset.Overall, this is a great budget shower mixer, only time will tell on how long it lasts, I have had branded mixers before, and they have not even lasted a year, don't waste money on a branded mixer, I would recommend you give this a try.

A nice looking bath shower mixer tap with a slightly unusual design of combined flow control diverter switch. The right hand control is the thermostatic control which has a safety lock set to 38c which you can over ride easily enough if you want hotter water. The left hand control is the single flow water on/off control which turned one way puts on the waterfall tap to the bath and the other way diverts water to the shower outlet.Supplied with European wall adapters or you can screw directly to standard bath risers if (like me) you are replacing a failed thermostatic bath tap. A quite elegant looking chrome finish with unusual taps - doesn't look cheap and does work effectively. The thermostatic cartridge in this tap is held in place with a grub screw so when it does eventually fail, it will be much easier to replace with a generic cartridge for a few pounds but hopefully that will be at least five years away.We have a shower pump and the tap specifies at least one bar of pressure so if you have a gravity fed system this is no good for you without a shower pump.

I bought this as a replacement. The unit is very chunky and quite large but because the plating is flawless it looks gorgeous and expensive. It's impossible to see the water flow and temperature settings as they are pointing in the wrong direction, they face towards the wall and not into the room, however this makes no difference as you turn the dials to your personal preference before you step into the shower. Two issues i had with it where one was minor the other could be serious. The two screw to the wall caps that come with the unit were too small to fit over the plate that is built into the wall so i had to use my old ones. Another issue i found was it seemed to me the 2 washers with the stainless steal filter in them seemed too be a little too small, about 1mm and they moved about when i was connecting up causing the unit to leak, i took the unit of again and used a generous amount of PTFE tape and this solved the problem

This item was to replace a surface mounted shower valve that had stopped working, and no spares were available. The equivalent replacement was about £150 - so I thought I will give product a try.It arrived promptly. Installation was straightforward. However, please note that because the seller is trying to cater for different input pipe distances, an adaptor is supplied which works well. However, this adaptor increases the distance of the shower valve from the wall (see pictures). A simple 3/4 inch to 15 mm connector would have worked just fine for me.The adaptor has a handy point where you can use a second spanner to hold the connectro in place while yu tighten the nuts (see picture). This ensures that the adaptor stays in the right place during installation.One more point to note is that the main connction to the valve is supplied with a rubber washer. So you should hand tighten theis, and then turn a maximum of quarter turn to make it water tight.I fixed the shower valve to the shower wall with bathroom sealent.The temperature control works well, and there is no loss of pressure.

Urgently required a replacement valve for shower that went faulty and all local stores didn't have stock and were quite expensive. Ordered this Saturday afternoon and it arrived Sunday morning . Brilliant service and fitted straight away very easy swap over, absolutely marvelous, good price
