Very nice family entertainment 🥰
The media could not be loaded. A show stopper at our Easter party!IMPORTANT for safety and less mess:- Melt your chocolate first in the microwave.- Make sure you pour your melted chocolate with the machine on “warm”, then turn it on to move.- place a nice board or large plate under to help with the dripping and foods (like strawberries, marshmallows, cookies etc..)Make sure you don’t turn the machine off before the party ends. The chocolate will get stuck on the spiral and you wont be able to turn it on again (If someone turns it off by accident you just need to put the parts in the microwave inside of a large glass bowl, let all melt and put it back on the machine, with the help of paper towels).Towards the end of using it, Turn it off and wash everything right the way. The whole machine will be clean in 5 minutes if you have a bowl with hot water and soap.Great purchase ❤️

Love it!
It was my 1st time using and purchasing a chocolate fountain but I am so glad I purchased this. Super easy to set up/use and clean (just be sure to clean it right after you are done, don't let it sit). I did preheat the fountain for about 20-30 minutes prior to use like others recommended before putting the melted chocolate in. Be sure to level the chocolate so it flows evenly. This worked perfectly and was not noisy at all. Major hit at my daughter's sweet 16. I used with 4lbs of chocolate melts and it lasted for about 4hrs.

Fantastic Fountain, but loud
I bought this fountain after doing quite a bit of research on chocolate fountains. It was a great price and I have always trusted the Wilton name. I looked into buying the Wilton melts but omg they are expensive and I wanted cleaner ingredients for my guests. With the help of some of the other reviews here on Amazon I felt confident that I could mix my own chocolate with chocolate chips and oil. This is what I did: I used four 12 ounce bags of the Trader Joe’s semi sweet chocolate chips, two bags of Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers (the red bag) and one cup of chosen foods avocado oil. That cost me $24.34 instead of $40 for the Wilton melts (tjs chocolate chips are $2.99 a bag and the Ghirardelli wafers are $6.19 each at Target, and I already had the avo oil). I realize all that chocolate adds up to be four and a quarter pounds but it worked fine. I’m not a big fan of microwaving chocolate so I set up my double boiler and melted the chocolate in two batches. Once the first batch was done I poured the melted chocolate into a mixing bowl and then melted the second batch, and then added the first batch back in to make sure it was all nice and melted together. I did preheat the fountain for about an hour (as another reviewer suggested). Once I poured the chocolate into fountain and turned it to flow it flowed perfectly. I did all this at about 4:30 and my party started at 6. I turned it off at about 10:30 pm and cleaned it immediately. I really didn’t think the pieces were hard to clean at all. I’d say I do a lot of dishes tho so maybe it’s just no big deal to me!I will say I was very disappointed with the noise this fountain made. When I first turned it on the house was dead quiet and I thought oh no this sure is annoying. It’s got quite a high pitch noise when it runs, much like an ice cream maker. I was thinking ok well it will be better once I turn the music on. Nope. And then I thought ok it will be better once my 20 guests arrive. Nope. It was annoying the whole time. During the party I was even thinking about how I could create some kind of sound dampening equipment for it lol, because the fountain really did work nicely! It’s just was quite obnoxious.I hope this review is helpful to some of you! In conclusion I’d say buy at your own risk of being annoyed by the sound of the motor, and don’t waste your money on the Wilton melts. My guests loved it regardless and everyone had a blast with it.

Worked just fine for me
I ordered the Wilton Chocolate Pro 3-tier chocolate fountain to use at my son's 16th birthday party. I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews. But, I had the mind set that I would use it once, and if it didn't work, I'd toss it in the trash because I couldn't have rented one for the night for the price I paid anyway. I am happy to report that I had NO problem with it at all. I made sure it was level by using the attached level. That was easy! I heated it for about 20 minutes. While it was heating, I melted the chocolate chips in zip lock bags mixed with a little oil. I did not use that expensive "fondue" chocolate. I just used good old fashioned chocolate chips. I then poured the melted chocolate into the bottom of the fountain. It was melted just fine, but seemed a little thick, so I put some more oil in it. I stirred it and turned the knob and it flowed beautifully. I mean, every now and then it would "curtain" or open a little on the bottom layer, but to me that was not a big deal. I think I started out with 5 bags of melted chips, and later I added 2 more because I didn't want the chocolate level to get too low. Some other people wrote that it was loud, but I didn't think so. If you were in a totally quiet room, then yes, you could probably hear it running. But, it was not distracting at all...sort of like a fan running. My fountain ran for at least 4 hours, and there were about 60 people at the party, and we didn't have one single issue with it. I used marshmallows, pretzel rods, strawberries, and rice crispie treats with mine. It was a HUGE hit with the 16 year old girls....they went on and on about how much they liked it!! Several of the boys tried it out too, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. One hint - even with napkins and plates and long skewers, the chocolate will drip on the table. So, you probably don't want a white table cloth. What I did was use a dark blue table cloth (plastic!) and then I layed a few dark blue paper napkins around the base of the fountain. Every now and then I'd just throw them away and put some fresh ones down. That was just because I wanted it to look clean all night, and was just my own preference. But, you can expect drips. When it was time to clean up, I just dumped the left over chocolate into a garbage bag. I then took the middle pieces out and rinsed them off and put them into the dishwasher. I used a wet dish towel to wipe out the bottom. It just wasn't the horrible experience I had read about. Well worth the money I spent.

Great product
We used this for a party for about 30 people and it was a big hit. It worked well and was quieter than I expected. I recommend following the directions closely and having plenty of Chocolate (4lbs/64oz). It did get messy on the table, but washing it was fairly simple. Definitely worth the price.
