No. XLR connector only A USB adaptor can be purchased but it must have phantom power.

Q: how many mics for a 16 x 18 room with about 35 people?

It's difficult to answer your question because I don't know how you have the room set up. If you are sitting around 8 ft tables you would need one on each table. These microphones are not set up to carry a long distance. It's a good microphone but is limited somewhat in range. It sounds like maybe you need to look for something else.

I just looked at the description and I can’t find where it says: “…wireless in Connector Type and also says it comes with a 12 ft. connecting cable which is it?" These are NOT wireless. They are hard wire only. They come with an attached 12ft XLR cable. They are worth every penny. Great quality.

Q: Could 2 of these with a preamp add congregational singing & pipe organ (40x50 sanctuary) for streaming? Another channel connects the sound system.

It probably would but the response would be very tinny sounding. The frequency is mostly high end. Not for music.
