It was just the same as the one I had changed out before. But, before you button up everything be sure to take off the adhesive on the bottom where the microphone goes! The last time I’d done this i had not done so and mic wouldn’t work. Id relegated to using Bluetooth for phone calls. Just a little experience that id just learned with this latest swap. #DogeDope

If you know how to install OR know someone that can install it, it works great and will save you a lot of money if your charging jack goes bad on your IPHONE. A+++

My old charger port was wore out. Had to plug it in a certain way or it wouldn’t work. It does take some time to replace but well worth it. Now I’m good to go. And fit my xr phone.

Watched a tutorial video on how to replace the charging port in my phone. Did everything to the tee and the charging port still didn't work. Idk if i got a defective item or what but I ended up buying a wireless charger and that helped me.

The screw that hold the motherboard to the phone uses a different screwdriver than supplied with this kit, so after taking the phone apart I was unable to replace the defective part as I could not remove the motherboard. The company that provided the part said its not their problem to contact Amazon. Since Amazon is just the store that sold it I do not see what good that will do.Supply the correct tools to replace the part with the kit. Be wary if you buy this kit that you will need to buy another screwdriver to remove the motherboard.

I’ve bought lots of parts from this company and some are hit or miss. But I just bought a charge port to replace a non-functional one and it worked flawlessly, fixed the issue and now the phones charging again. 5 Star.Repair is a little difficult, I took my time and it took me under an hour to fix. Just make sure you don’t mix up the screws and you’ll be fine, number them and label.
