Nixplay 13.3 inch Smart Digital Photo Frame with WiFi (W13D) - Black - Share Photos and Videos Instantly via Email or App

The picture quality is stunning. Setup was easy. There are way more features than I was expecting. I ordered the 13.3” thinking the dimensions would be the standard 4:3, but it is not. This size is the standard Instagram dimension, or full iPhone screen dimension of 16:9, if that makes sense. (Photos I take on IG and save to my iPhone 11x Pro photo library fit this screen perfectly.) So if you add photos with standard 4:3 dimensions to your NixPlay playlist, they will have space above and below instead of filling the screen. I went through my photos and cropped/adjusted the dimensions of each one to be the 16:9 dimension needed to fit this screen perfectly. I have now adjusted the settings on my iPhone camera to always take photos in these dimensions, but all of my old photos are in the standard 4:3 dimension. This is not a complaint in any way, but other buyers should be aware! I suppose you could avoid this by using one of the display settings that doesn’t fill the screen but instead layers the photos, but the pictures are so stunning in full screen, I spent the time cropping them all and am very pleased. If your photos are typically in 4:3 dimensions, I would personally recommend the 8x10 screen. My photo shows the 13.3” NixPlay screen next to a standard 8x10” canvas, so you can see that although the screen is taller than the standard, it is also much more narrow. (An 18 month old provided the art for your viewing pleasure.) Enjoy!!

This is all you can expect in a digital photo frame and more. It is the perfect gift for someone who is not good with electronics. You can simply connect it to their wifi, set up the app, and they won't have to touch a thing ever again.Not only does the app allow you to add and remove photos, but it also controls all the settings, sleep times, brightness, remote control, volume, and anything else normally only available when in front of the device. This is really ingenious.It is also fast, nice quality images, has the option for motion detection or sleep times, updates the software itself, has many options such as captions, transition effects, video capability...it really is pretty close to perfect.What would I like to see added or changed?- The app is really nice but does get into an endless loop on occasion, meaning the upload progress is not clear (the details button doesn't seem to do anything) and sometimes it will seem to sit there forever. Mostly it works though.- It would be nice to have a forward and backward button on the frame itself, just to scroll through the pix.- The frame is a little slippy to put on a shelf, it would be nice to include some sort of grip to keep shelf mounting more stable.- Maximum time per photo is 1 hour which is good in most cases, and probably is used to avoid burn in. It would be nice for a higher time, but I can understand why 1 hour may have to be the max.- It would be nice (asking a lot here) if the app showed which photo is currently on the frame. As it is, the app scrolls through the photos for effect, but since the app has a remote control function, it would be nice to use it to change which photo is on the frame without being near it.I think you can see that even trying to find things to change, they are very small things in a sea of really amazing product. I'm a grandpa and was wanting a far less cumbersome way of updating photos of my grandkids to my photo frame than my previous one demanded. When I saw this one online and checked out its reviews, I knew I had to have it! And, I am thrilled with just how simple it is to transfer photos that are on my Android phone to it with just a few clicks and in just a few seconds! And, the photo quality is wonderful! The frame is well built and beautiful, too. I really love this product and highly recommend it.

I bought the 13.3 inch frame to replace the 10 inch frame I'd had for years. The 10 inch frame had a blob of pixel degradation in the middle of the screen that made for a pale yellow circle in all the photos.The 13.3 inch frame is great because it is bigger, and of course it doesn't have burned out pixels. But, I find that its resolution is less? It is less vibrant in color and clarity, especially when viewed from any angle that's not directly in front of it. Adjusting the brightness does not improve it (the default brightness was already 92%) and the only other control is adjusting individual RGB settings, which I'm not going to do. I moved the 10 inch frame to my office, so I still see it everyday, with the same photos that are displayed on the 13.3 inch frame. The 10 inch is more vibrant color than the new 13.3 inch frame.

The NixPlay frame is easy to use, has apps that are easy to use. I found it has a lot of features such as adding captions that will be helpful in the long term. Picture quality great. Easy to add pictures from my home desktop or from my iPhone. I enjoy having the frame appear as a clock both during the day and at night when I turn off the picture slide show. I wish we had this years ago.

This is a great product. We had a cheaper frame by another company that worked perfect but we wanted to be able to upload photos from our phones. The other company's app was not being updated so we lost the ability to upload phone photos. This frame handles that perfect - and very easy to use. Our grown kids have the app and can upload pictures to our frame from out of state as it connects to our wi-fi. Quality is great and we love the auto-on/auto-off sensor. It's perfect for our needs and a great size.

My grandma always wants more pictures from us, especially of my niece and nephew. I got her this frame so that we could send pictures directly to it without worrying about memory cards or anything.The app was easy to use, and easy for me to setup with members of my family so that they could add photos as well, and she loves the pictures getting refreshed and having so many of them instead of having to pick a few and put them on the fridge or find frames and get someone to hang them up for her.

Would have given 5 stars but for the way the App works.Bought this for my 80yr-old mom who is isolated during Pandemic. I was impressed with the physical construction, the clarity/resolution of the screen, and the little magnet on the back of the frame that lets you hang the remote where you can find it again. The packaging (fwiw) is beautiful and top-notch, but you just end up throwing it away once you unbox. The flexible little leg on the back is very adjustable and works well.It's a bit expensive but I am overall pleased with the frame and would recommend, but someone needs to improve the way the app works. All my family found the app confusing. It should be easier to just invite people and not have confusion about whether they can go ahead and start sending photos to the frame. I ended up getting photos sent just to me on the app and which didn't at first go to my mom's frame.

Mooie lijst, helder beeld, erg leuk dat de filmpjes ook tussen de foto's door worden afgespeeld ( met geluid als je dat wil). Makkelijk te installeren en ook makkelijk foto's en filmpjes van je telefoon rechtstreeks naar het scherm te sturen. Nadeel is dat met staande foto en liggend scherm de foto natuurlijk wel klein is. Maar nog steeds erg tevreden. Nu een maand in gebruik. 1 persoon per gezin kan linken met het foto frame. Andere gezinsleden kunnen dan als vrienden worden toegevoegd zodat zij ook foto's kunnen plaatsen.

This frame is a good size to sit on table or mantle and enjoy from across the room. I previously had the 7inch and it worked well but it is only good for closeup viewing on your desk. Easy to set up. It is the right thickness to sit on furniture so it does not take up a lot of room. This one has the bendable cord so you can use it as stand and place it horizontal or vertical. I chose not to get frame with built in speaker as it is bulky on back and we have a bluetooth speaker. If you are putting in room with no speakers it might be nice to use as a speaker to bluetooth music.

Fijne fotolijst met heel mooi scherp beeld. Jammer dat er geen ondersteuning is voor een Nas. Software is wat gebruiksonvriendelijk door nodeloos complex menu structuur. Maar eenmaal ingesteld een fantastische fotoweergave.

We are really happy with this digital frame. The set-up was very easy and the picture quality if excellent. Unlike another reviewer we didn't have any problem with the frame losing all the settings during a power cut, which is important for us as we have frequent power cuts.
