Pleasant and Natural Smelling Wood Aromas in a Handsomely Designed Box
I purchased this product to use both in my oil diffuser and to use in some homemade candles. I am still waiting on my candle wax to arrive, so I have only used it in my oil diffuser, so far. I was looking forward to receiving this product, as it is the first set of wood-type scents I have ever used. I was concerned that the aromas might be overpoweringly strong, however I was delightfully surprised to discover they are more subtle, pleasant and natural smelling than yankee-candle type aromas. I am looking forward to seeing how they blend with other aromas for fun wintery smelling candles. The packaging of the oils is very attractive. It looks like they came out of a European shop. It is a little difficult to pull the oils out of their individual resting areas, but otherwise, the packaging is handsome and would make a very nice-looking gift.I cannot really speak to the longevity of the product. So far I have only used about 8 drops in my oil diffuser at a time, and the scent is very subtle. I probably would double the amount of drops for a stronger wood smell.I would have given this company 5 stars, but my partner and I each felt one scent in the grouping was not our favorite. Nevertheless, I think this is a solid collection, and I plan to try some of Mitflor's other aromas.

Ima probably get this again
The scents are very nice coming from these oils. Perhaps its just me used to candy oils (4x strength or whatever) where its more...potent i guess. Never having used most of these i didnt expect them to be as light as they are. And i dont mean that in a bad way i honestly thought may be overwhelming (which could have been useful but i digress) like when youre in a bunch of pine trees right its very heavy of that smell. But these are nice. Little bit of various experiments left these base notes still there, but, again, being used to 4x candy oils, its a bit of a bummer one drop doesnt go as far as id like. Please note this is only for me and my personal preference and reasons for use. I will say that if using for making scents for bath saltsIdk really how anyone does it but for testing reasons i threw in some epsom salt, corn starch, bit if baking soda, witch hazel, and everclear (adding maybe 2 drops to the dry mix first) and that very much enhanced my oil scent while doing my outside projects

Good Lord, these are potent
Except for the balsam fir, which smells like the bathroom air freshener of a New Jersey rest stop, the scents are nice. Only one or two drops in a small diffuser will fill your ENTIRE APARTMENT or the whole floor of your house so definitely start small to avoid headaches. The bottles pour inconsistently. Some need a strong shake to get anything out and others leak so it's worth it to sacrifice a test drop or two in the sink so as not to overdo it in the diffuser.I have no experience with describing scent profiles but I'm very particular about smells, so here's my impressions of the other scents:Nanmu: It's kind of peppery, like old school aftershave. It has something that made me think of frankincense but I'm not sure what, exactly. I don't really use this one.Cedarwood: I love cedarwood but this one is a little different than what I expected. There's something citrusy or almost candy-like about it. l'll mix it with a strong lavender, but I wouldn't use it on its own.Rosewood: my first impression was "oh wow, it does smell rosy!" It's muted, but definitely detectable. As a whole, the smell has a pleasant weight to it somehow, maybe almost smokey. It seems like a seductive date night scent.Eaglewood: my second-favorite of the set. There's a lot in this one. It reminds me of the warmth of cinnamon (but not the sharpness) and maybe something like sandalwood.Birch: I use this one the most. It feels clean, bright...minty? It's nice in the daytime and a safe bet to diffuse when you have company.

Quality Oils & Amazing Scents
MitFlor offers high quality essential oils in their Woody Fall set. Each bottle exudes an appropriately sturdy and alluring aroma without any chemical smell, and each scent matches its labels. These oils work beautifully alone or blended with other oils in my diffuser/humidifier. The longevity of each fragrance is reliable and satisfying.MitFlor essential oils will serve me well in my personal recipes for cologne making and other DIY projects. I also love how giftable this set is to all genders.I am highly pleased with my first set of MitFlor therapeutic grade pure essential oils. The Rosewood is warm and earthy, robust, and delightful. The Cedarwood is rich with flavor and heart and a fleeting initial mint impression that should introduce all great cedarwood. Each therapeautic grade essential oil in this set of six exudes a different tree's woody fragrance in its distinct tones, depths and heights, and unique alluring essence. My favorite in this collection is Eaglewood with its deeply sensual musky-earth appeal. I can hardly wait to experience more MitFlor aromas in their other essential oils and in their frangrance oils as well.

Perfect set for the fall & winter season!
Let me start by saying that this brand has AMAZING customer service! You’re not treated like a number and they really care about your experience with their products. And such cute packaging! The box has a rustic vibe and is perfect for a gift. Just tie a bow out of twine, add a rosemary spring and BOOM! I also love the simplistic look of these bottles, they look much better displayed on my shelf than other ones I’ve bought in the past. These are 100% PURE and organic essential oils - don’t be fooled by the fake “fragrance oils” out there. I got the Woody kit because even though it’s still summer, I need fall to happen NOW! I’ve divided the set into fall and winter oils! The Nanmu oil is very unique, fresh, pine-like and slightly floral. It’s perfect for end of summer to add to bubble baths or DIY cleaning sprays. Birch reminds me of a cozy campfire. Cedarwood smells like a very clean woodland. Rosewood & Eaglewood are more musky…so if you enjoy myrrh or sandalwood, those will be your jam. I’m excited to use these for body butters, scrubs and candles. This set is making me want a diffuser!
