Really enjoyed all the details of what really happened!! There’s a lot more to the life than people know...she was also a friend, counselor etc...

Quick and interesting read. Behind the scenes of her life and how it led to what happened. I was hoping for more details on her story. Maybe a 2nd book??

This is not really a book. It is less than 100 pages. It is not well written and was more of an afterthought than a true memoir. Most books are written before the movie, not after. I was hoping for a book like Molly’s Game, however, it was not even close!

Fun, easy reading!

I got interested in this story a while back and have read some of the articles about the real women who were involved. Very different from the movie.Impressive that it has forewords by the people who made the film. Pressler’s is especially thoughtful. Overall really eye opening as far as the complexity and humanity in the world of gentlemen’s clubs.Not terribly long. A quick read (which I actually prefer), less because of length and more because it really does heat up as it unfolds.

Awesome read! This Memoir is about struggles, strength, determination and learning from your Mistakes. What makes you who you are especially when money is a motivating factor. Everyone has a past, make choices and suffer the consequences. Although we live in a “mans world”, if you are an Alpha female you can be a boss, make your money and come out on top, use your Sophistication to your advantage. Congrats on your Book!

This book was terrible. Total waste of $20. Very poor writing and really just a summary of what we already know via google stretched out across a measly 100 pages.

For her first book ever, this was amazing! She takes the reader on a journey from her past to the present. It is interesting to get to know the real story behind Hustler. She will make you laugh and make you cry. Pick this one up, it’s hard to put down!

After watching the movie 3 times in theatres and reading the original article about this story I found out there was a book based on the main characters life. I had very high hopes when I ordered the book but unfortunately it was only 90-something pages long. It wasn’t worth spending almost $30 on forsure and I wouldn’t call it an “autobiography”. Just a short little read book.
