Did more damage to my lawn trying to use this than the mole did in the first place
Well, I should have known what to expect having read the previous reviews. But I didn't want to move straight to a lethal trap without at least giving a humane trap a try - I wanted to give the little blighter a chance! The TL;DL - no mole was caught but I did significant damage to my lawn trying! To set up this trap involves finding a shallow mole tunnel and digging a section out so the trap can fit. Trouble is, moles don't dig in straight lines, so finding a section of tunnel long and straight enough to put it in involved quite a lot of digging in the lawn.I tried the trap in numerous locations over several weeks, each morning checking the trap and discovering either it was full of soil or that the mole had gone around or over it, making a new tunnel. The issue is, the flaps at either end (which are supposed to close behind the mole when it's inside) get stuck in the open position very easily when a small amount of soil is pushed in - which is what happens all the time when the mole is moving about pushing soil in front of it.I do feel that there must be an effective humane trap design out there somewhere, but this isn't it.The result was, lots more damage to my lawn caused by trying to set up the trap, compared to what the mole ever did.Epilogue: the mole is gone now. I now have a population of voles which have taken over the tunnels - I think they kicked the mole out! It's now moved over the road and is annoying my neighbour... At least the voles don't make mounds of earth everywhere, so I'll live with that!

They haven't worked for me
We have huge molehills in the garden and can feel the tunnels underfoot now. We looked into what was available that didn't involve killing the pesky critter and we bought two of these. We looked at videos, we placed the traps in the middle of recent runs and we checked them at least once a day. Nothing. The 'tubes' have a flimsy hinged disc at each end and, having seen the strength in a mole's front feet, I have my doubts that they'd be able to withstand some determined scrabbling.Perhaps we've been unlucky and others have found more success than we have.

Need a bit of patience but I just caught a mole in this after about 3 weeks
Maybe I got lucky but I am feeling pretty triumphant after catching a mole in this trap. Saved quite a lot of money doing it myself too. Best to put trap in some soil for a few days reduce the chance of mole rejecting it due to plastic smell.

Doesn't work
So we have been trying to use this for a while now and our little mole out smarts it. It fills it with mud and goes around it. Clever mole

Moles just dig around them
Am loathed you “kill” our moles, but they are wrecking our lawn.I’ve tried this for a few weeks, checking regularly, moving regularly.Every single time without fail the mole will either dig around the trap, or fill it with soil.Disappointed.

Don’t buy it, it doesn’t work
This is a useless trap. Each time the mole burrows it pushes soil and this opens and keeps the trap door open for it to escape. I know this because I can see soil has been pushed against the door and it’s fully open allowing the mole to just walk away. Don’t waste your money. In my opinion it should be removed from Amazon and from sale in general!!!!

Waste of money
Did nothing. Mole just pushed it out of the ground

Complete waste of money
The plastic "doors" at each end do not close. Not hinged, just flap uselessly. Bought 4, tried 4 times I.e. 16 attempts. Nothing and my field is covered in fresh molehills.
