Dear customer - to provide assurance that our tea is not in any way contaminated, our manufacturer periodically conducts tests on the soil, as well as the actual tea itself (most recently on the crop harvested in May 2019), and I can confirm that neither the soil nor the tea are affected by radiation. Furthermore, as you may know, Kyoto is located approximately 500 miles southwest of the Fukushima nuclear power plant, with Mt. Fuji and Mt. Hida (along with other tall mountain ranges) lying between Kyoto and Fukushima, therefore the radiation doesn't reach there. Please be sure to reach out to us if you would like a copy of the rest report and certificate.

What's the expiry date of the product if i buy it this week? (Jan 2023)

It's difficult to know with any certainty as stock is scattered around in different Amazon fulfilment centres so it can vary depending on where you live, but based on our records it should be either January 2024 or April 2024.
