DG4SQ-8 Heavy Duty Non-Slip Rubber (No Glue Or Nails) Furniture Floor Pads, Protectors, 4'' L, Set of 8

I have a Great Dane who loves to do "parkour"/"the floor is lava" zoomies. He jumps from couch to couch and off the backs of the couches. We have hardwood floors so he has moved a particular couch 5+ feet into the wall several times and made holes in it. (Thus, causing the ban of zoomies in the house) We got these based on another review of a dog doing similar things, so we thought we'd try them as well. Let me tell you, these things are AMAZING!!! My dog will start to do zoomies (before I stop him and let him outside) and after we got these for the couch, it hasn't slid an inch. For a 120+ lb dog running and jumping into the couch where he used to slide it 5+ feet, I'd say this product works great! Just put it under the legs of the couch and it won't move. You don't need to stick it as they just sit underneath the legs.Just make sure you don't have any other grips or anything underneath as the couch will still slide if you have other grips on it. I had other adhesive grips on them so the legs wouldn't damage the floor but it caused the couch to slide more easily. I tried to put these with the other grips, but the couch slid off of these grips (the grips stayed put but the couch moved. 😅). However, once I took them off, the couch hasn't moved. Awesome product!!

I have wood floors throughout my house. Every rug and piece of furniture needs to be secured. Over the past 5 years, I've tried a variety of different products to hold my rugs and furniture in place. Some have worked better than others but none of them held 100% of the time. That is until I bought these.I had a new king size bed whose frame had 12 plastic capped legs coming in contact with the wood floor. Although it was a quality frame, the legs moved ever so slightly over the floor when weight was applied which caused a very loud squeeking sound. I bought these 4 inch square pads and cut them into quarters to apply under each leg of the frame. They are holding all legs very firmly in place and the bed is now completely silent. They've been in place for 2 months now and are still holding firm.I also used these under the recliner in the living room. I've tried 4 different products on that recliner to hold it in place over the past 3 years. It always moved and had begun to noticeably scratch the floor. After applying these 4 inch pads, which I cut in half for this application, the recliner has not moved at all in two months now. I seriously mean it hasn't moved at all, not even a 1/4 inch.I can't recommend these any more highly. The only qualifier that I'd add, these pads are about 1/2 inch thick. You'll need to take that into account when deciding where to use them. They will lift up whatever item they are placed under.

In the past I typically bought those felt sticky pads or tack-in protectors to keep things from scratching surfaces in my home. We moved to a new house 3 years ago and it is all hardwood. I have never lived in a home with all hardwood flooring and quickly became annoyed with my "wandering" furniture. I was at my wit's end and felt I had tried everything short of cementing the legs of my living room furniture (not a very practical solution, I'm sure). I was tired of buying endless things at local hardware and box stores only to find they would hinder but not stop my runaway seating. Then, I found Dura-Grip Heavy Duty 4" Square, 1/2" Thick Non-Slip Rubber. I figured this was going to be another shot-in-the-dark but this time I'd be out more money than usual. I was floored (ha!) by the staying power these sturdy little squares provided! I have 3 kids at home that turn my furniture into targets they feel they must fling or flop themselves onto in order to get the proper seating. This action, of course, would send my couch/loveseat sailing across my floor. My husband and his family are not small people (particular member larger than normal aka defensive line football player) so every time they'd sit or get up my furniture could try to creep away - NOT ANYMORE! When these squares arrived, I almost laughed because they seemed wimpy in comparison to other things I'd tried. So, don't judge based upon looks because this is an awesome product. They do not attach to anything so no sticky adhesives or tacks - just place under the furniture and voilà! - no more migrating furniture scratching up the floor!
