fixed the roof of my 06’ 350z !! super easy and worked like a charm so glad i didn’t have to spend so much money on an entire roof replacement when i could do this in my garage ! now it shuts fully im very satisfied

These Spyder Straps Worked!!
The new Spyder Straps worked perfectly. I watched a YouTube video about why the top wouldn't go down on my Nissan 350Z, and learned how to install these straps. The ingenious part about these straps is the strong piece of wire on the end of each strap. Each end of this wire is bent down about 3/8th of an inch, which fit nicely into the existing rivet holes. Instead of drilling out the old rivets and installing new rivets, this works just as well, and is much easier, especially when wrapping the straps once around the wire to hold it in place. I got a huge discount for this car because the top wouldn't go down, and the dealer quoted the previous owner a very high price to fix this problem. Neither of them knew about these Spyder Straps. If your top doesn't go down, buy these straps and watch the YouTube video. They work!

Great Solution!
I was honestly a bit doubtful that this would solve the problem, but alas it did the trick and the top works perfectly now! The price may seem high for a couple of pieces of elastic band and small brass staples, but what you're really buying is someones simple solution to a complex problem in a "I could have thought of that, but never would have" scenario. The what goes under and over what part of installation is a bit tricky to first figure out, but after the first one makes sense. I recommend starting on the passenger side where the entire process is better shown on the installation video.

Quick and cheap fix for 350z convertible top
Novel fix to a common problem. Eliminates any drilling and riveting. Easy to install. Lots of videos online to assist. Works great. Saved me from expensive repair.
