I bought this for my honeymoon, (my husband hates selfies lol) We still got some great shots with the selfie stick feature but wow, having this really allowed us to get some awesome photos while we hiked through the Smokies! It folds up to a great portable size, I could keep it in a small pouch in my bag. The part that holds the phone rotates so that you can take both horizontal and vertical photos. The remote piece is AWESOME! Super easy to pair and really makes for a great feature!My only concern was with the stability. You need to make sure it's on stable ground if you're using it as a tripod when it's fully extended. The phone makes it really top heavy so if it isn't a flat surface it will be difficult to stabilize and could easily fall over.But it was a great find & price and helped us capture awesome memories from our honeymoon!

I bought this product to use primarily as a tripod. I am a dancer and was looking for something to use to take videos and pictures without having to have someone tag along with me all the time. I wasn't looking for a selfie stick, so that feature was really just a bonus. This product is sturdy as a tripod and it functions well as a selfie stick.The one thing I will say is that it did take me multiple tries to make the initial connection with my phone. It took maybe three or four tries, but I have had the same issue with other bluetooth enabled devices so I wasn't discouraged when the connection was unsuccessful on the first try. Now whenever I place my phone in the holder, it connects automatically to my phone.All in all, it functions as a tripod; it functions as a selfie stick and I'm happy so far.In the event it gets weird, I'll update my review. I would recommend this product.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! IT'S SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT AND SUPER EASY TO CONNECT TO YOUR PHONE. THE BUTTON ON THE SELFIE STICK COMES OFF SO YOU CAN USE IT AS A REMOTE TO TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEO. IT'S GREAT WHEN YOU WANT GROUP PHOTOS!

This is a great product. We use it to make our daily videos at the office. The tripod and selfie atick features all in one make it conpletely worth it.

I ordered this self stick for a trip that we had programmed & wasn't sure how I felt about the Bluetooth connection, but I'm super happy with it, just that keep in mind that the self stick turned off automatically therefore the Bluetooth connection also gets disconnected, just make sure to hold camera icon button till you see the blue light flashing & that's when the Bluetooth will connect to use the stick. Other than that it works great, and very conveniently. Easy to use.

I purchased this selfie stick to take on our trip to Italy. I took hundreds of pictures of me and my husband with it just using the stick. Just returned from a mother daughter trip to Marfa and used it to take hundreds more pictures. My daughter and i had so much fun, first time to use the tripod and remote. we have some great shots. Purchased another one for my daughter and her family to take to New York. LOVE LOVE LOVE it....

This is great to use as a tripod as long as you're right there to press buttons - but it came with absolutely no instructions on how to use it as a selfie stick - it's got a remote button at the base of the stand, but I can't for the life of me get it to take the picture. Is it missing something? It was just the tripod in the box - no instructions, no cords, nothing.

I did have an issue with the battery being dead on the remote....however, they were quick to resolve and everything works great. Best money ever spent on this. Works really well and have used it a bunch of times already. I do have a battery case on mine...so I have to remove it because it is extra big with that on. A normal protection case would still fit fine.
