Safariland 7350-03-2 Shield Style Badge Holder, Black, Plain

Well priced product. Bit of a tight fit, but once I had my badge in I have been very happy. My work recently took me away from my FD, but I wanted my badge to go with me as a reminder of back home. I plan to keep my badge on this holder until I get home and I keep it in my bag pack wrapped in a soft cloth. I did wear it on my belt once and it was comfortable and stayed where I put it. It doesn't include a chain, but I am sure you could use a dog tag chain and wear this around your neck if you wanted. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. It is well built, and sturdy. Sure I'll have it around the house long after I get back.

Buy this badge holder instead of the one made by Aker. I love Aker products in general and have used them for some years now (magazine & handcuff cases, etc.). The Aker model's badge holder belt clip is way too stiff and makes attaching it to a belt far more difficult than what is required for a secure wearing of a badge. Safariland is a good brand and I am just now replacing the Safariland one I have used now for 15-years. It is still usable but it shows some serious wear so I bought another one. I'll be retired before I wear out this second one.

I bought this because it was the only holder that seemed to fit our department's badge size (similar to LAPD). I was looking for a "fitted" cutout holder, but was unsuccessful. When I bought the product I was a little worried about the quality due to the price, and I was fully prepared to have to purchase another more expensive holder once this one broke. But to my surprise, the quality of this product is excellent for the money, it is sturdy and my badge pinned onto it easily. So far it seems like it will last several years. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is due to me wanting a fitted recessed holder, which this is not.

As other people mentioned , it’s not a badge ( like it says on the headline name of the product) but it’s a great way to clip on a badge to a vest or a belt. Great product.

Very disappointed that this item appears to be a badge with holder. NO ACTUAL BADGE…just a plain useless empty holder. Photos of item for sale should only be that..a plain empty badge holder without the actual badge. The appropriate thing would be to use words on that picture stating “item for sale is just a badge holder without the actual badge” or just use a photo of the correct real item for sale which is just a badge holder not an actual badge! Stupid. Shouldn’t even be able to receive 1 star.

Badge holder fits an oval style badge perfect. Great for a very minimalist carry.

Sorry it was a great item, just didn’t realize it did not t have the badge….just the holder picture was a little misleading

Very well made. Made from real leather and a steel (chrome) clip. Clip is strong. Leather is thick and rigid. I plan on purchasing a spare in case I can’t find this one in the future. Holds my belt very securely. Great price too.
