great in concept poor execution
as a veteran of two wars im ashamed of you touting your veteran status to sell this product. I was quite sure that this product wasnt going to hold up based on the price and the features offered. I wanted to be proven wrong. Sadly I was not. The light is way off center and the laser gets raddled off after less then 30 rounds of 9mm out of a glock 19. The battery life is about 2 sustained hours.

Excellent for the price point, but not a duty carry or EDC quality item
I was looking for a low cost light for the handgun I keep handy for anything that might go bump in the night, and liked the features on this for the price point (compact, rechargeable, battery indicator light). The light is plenty bright and has a nice spread, a bright focused center but still throws enough ambient light to illuminate a good field of view, the activation buttons are easily accessed and intuitive, and while I'm not a huge fan of lasers, the model with the green laser is actually pretty impressive. I took the light out at night and the light was adequate to about 50 yards, and I couldn't find anything far enough away for the laser not to reach out to - the laser actually had the beam visible in the ambient humidity, which was kind of cool and speaks to it's power that I could refract in the humidity and still project a solid dot as far as my surrounding tree line (250+ yards) would allow. On the downsides of this, I found the body/case to be questionable in it's ability to handle moisture. I doubt the buttons, molding seams, and laser bezel are sealed from just looking at them, and the LED charge indicator appears to be unprotected entirely. I would not immerse this in water and be concerned for it's ability to survive duty use in significant rain. For my purposes, indoors living on a handgun in a lockbox, it's not an issue. The biggest drawback I found is the mounting system - I attached it to several handguns, and full size frames with a full rail were the only guns it securely gripped onto. It wouldn't bite the mounts on shorter rail compact and subcompact handguns tight enough not to have some lateral play, enough that it moved the laser about a foot left or right at 20 feet. This is likely due to the very short section of rail forward of the tightening screw and the fact most compact and subcompact handguns have beveled and rounded edges on the rail where it's meeting the forward end of the mount on the light.Over all, for the purpose of use I bought the unit for, I'm very happy with it. On my EDC/duty handguns, I'll stick with my more expensive and rugged lights. If you're just looking for something to have on a gun in the nightstand, or even for a light duty light for an indoors security/LE job, I feel this is more than sufficient to fill that role. A cheap light is still better than no light, and while lasers are a little too "tacticool" for my taste, throwing a dot on someone might be enough to get them on the ground without having to fire a shot, which isn't a bad bonus to have in your toolbox. As for the company, Tacticon, I've now purchased several items from them and have been satisfied and impressed with their business as a whole. Yes, most of what they sell is your typical Chinese branded items and is not anywhere near the quality of Acog, Eotech, Holosun, or any of the other big name brands. It's also nowhere near the price point of those brands, and has been of sufficient quality that I trust them within the limitations and expectations I've set for them. The flip up BUIS sights are awesome, and best quality I've used, the Predator red dot is a very solid build and if it continues to perform through another couple hundred rounds flawlessly, I would readily put on a patrol rifle. They seem to be selling the better quality made Chinese items, and stand behind their products with a lifetime warranty, and every order I've made has included a handwritten thank you note.

I already want another one!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am in love with this laser/flashlight, and I just got it yesterday! Installation was a breeze, and the fit is perfect. It's not bulky and doesn't take away from the overall design on the gun. I originally bought it to go on my Taurus G2C, but ended up putting it on the newer Ruger SR 22. I'm without a doubt going to buy another. I recently went to the gun & knife show, a combo with a rechargeable battery was going for $149.00! The laser is bright and the flashlight/strobe is darn near blinding. You won't find a better deal/quality in my opinion. This saves you at least a hundred dollars when adding it to your gun vs buying one with it attached already. Oh, I also got a nice handwritten note from the seller. Such a nice personalized touch! I will be recommending this to everyone.

Only accurate for the first couple shots
Mounted this on a Taurus G2C 9mm. Green laser is very visible and had a far distance and regular light works fine in solid mode and strobe mode. Battery life is great and charger work nicely. My gripe is the ACCURACY. Went to the range to adjust elevation and windage and adjusted with the target paper about 20 to 25 feet out. After about ten minutes of adjusting and aligning the laser with my picture sight the best I could, I shot three rounds. The first two rounds hit almost exactly where the laser was, however the third round was way off. After that the laser was about two feet lower on the paper than when I started shooting even though I was still pointing at the same spot. Not totally surprised though, I questioned the sturdiness of this when I first mounted it on and something about it didn't seem perfectly aligned on the gun even though I made sure to screw tight. Was very excited when it came but had to send back after just one week.

Best for the price/not reliable
First I would like to say I only purchased this because of the review it made it seem worth a shot and as a combat veteran I like supporting other veterans. Second for the price you won't find better. Arrived very quick and packaged very nicely in a sturdy little box, charges pretty quick. Dead out of the box about an hour to full. Overall it feels durable, plastic can go either way, light and laser very bright but I'm not 100% satisfied, the most bothersome thing to me is the screw placement is not center on the mounting area. It makes it seem slightly unstable on the pistol, I wish it was a quick release. I will update my review after field test. After test Update, the battery does not hold a charge, it goes dead sitting a couple of days. After another charge I took it to the range.... It did not perform as I expected. I was very disappointed. Every shot changed the position of the flashlight on the pistol. In my honest opinion I believe this was designed for airsoft and not a real pistol. Changing rating to 2 stars

Not worth the money unless buying for a rifle
This product is not worth the price you pay its bulky doesn't stay charged 3 seperate pistols I tried to fit it on it fit on one and was not a snug fit but you are virtually gonna have to go without a holster or do some serious shopping plus the buttons are super sensitive sliding it in and out of the holster the only thing I'd consider putting this is a rifle shortly in front of a foregrip but for the price I expected much better however return process seems to be easy probably because of many times its had to be done
