Some of the reviews are comical and made worse by attaching images.showing their handy work lolThey do work ut they arent for a novice DIYer really you need to understand your wall, the ground they lie on. Also .mortars lines. Every perp needs one to be effective but if your wall is soaking everytime it rains these are pointless. Typical drainage and guttering issues need to be fixed firstAlso do no install these then use a moisture meter not that are not even designed for walls but wood, if you have water ingress from rain water.you will have salt in your mortar and bricks, this holds water and will give you erroneous readings. It's a common used scam by so called damp proof experts.

Easy to use

This product arrived timeously and intact. I purchased this product on the recommendation of my builder who is resolving rising damp issues which have occurred at my home property. He has used this product many times before on other properties and likes it very much. I have never used these damp proofing rods myself. My builder advised me to buy this product via Amazon but I could have bought them cheaper via another company. These rods have yet to be fitted into my house wall as other rising damp issues are being dealt with first. The real proof will be the eventual eradication of the rising damp issues at my home. We will just have to wait and see !

I had a problem with some small amount of rising damp in an old property 1930s with slat damp course, thought i would try these.So easy to use and they seem to have solved the problem, brilliant! would recommend them.

Seem right for the job

.. then they are a bargain. Not the best value for money though. Says to Wear gloves, but they aren't included so you better buy some the same time that you order this.
