Better than the metallic imo
These pads are great. Once I put 2.75" shinkos front and rear on my Talaria MX4 I knew I would want more braking power. I ended up going with a 250mm floating front rotor and a 220mm floating rear rotor from ebay because the factory rotor would warp badly after heavy braking. I purchased one set of the Shimano pads in resin and one set in metallic. I ran the metalics on the front and the resins on the back. After about 2 weeks and having everything bedded in I really preferred the lever feel and over all braking performance from the resin pad in the rear. I purchased another set to go up front and after bedding in and riding for a day I can tell you from first hand experience that the resins actually grab harder and modulate better than the metallic. I have not had any brake fade from either pad material during normal riding and hooning around. If these resin pads work well for a150lb e-bike with a 180lb rider I'm sure they will work amazing for mtb.On top of that, the resin should cause less wear on my expensive rotors. To me this is the way to go.

Good control
The stopping power on these pads are probably the most stand-out feature on them. I put these on my front brake and left my back brake with the stock pads. Huge difference. The front brake has a lot more hold on the brake and is a night and day difference from the stock pads which don’t have that much stopping power. In terms of the squeakiness, I am not very happy as I replaced my front brake pads for these for the sole purpose of solving the squeak when walking the bike but unfortunately these have not solved my squeaking issue. For the price I would definitely say that these are worth it since it gives me more power on my brakes and it is definitely a upgrade you will notice.

NO MORE SQUEEKS AND GROANS!
Used on Talaria MX4 and Triple X models. Great improvement over stock Talaria pads that were noisy. Installs quick with included spreader and cotter pin (would prefer the screw type, but oh well). No noise. Smooth. Responsive. Easier to brake with just one finger now. Recommend!
