This works damn well
This works great! Checked the filter and it’s like a shop vac for the air.

My allergies have improved already.
This machine is wonderful! I. We can feel the difference in the room. Being able to vac and wash the pre- filter, saves on having to replace the charcoal filter too often. My daughter has this same unit in her house and I was impressed with the performance of her Levoit. I recommend this brand for the quality and performance.

Expensive But Essential
I've had other air purifiers before this one but honestly I'm mad at myself for not getting this one (especially this brand) sooner - it works so well.- It's perfect for my one bedroom apartment.- I have a dust allergy and live near an area where there's a lot of wildfires. This made me able to breathe.- Other brands gave me a sore throat due to the Ozone production but this one doesn't.- Easy and quick setup.- I love the different level of fan speeds since it also changes the loudness which is great for use while sleeping.- You can turn off the lights which is great for having it on while sleeping too.

Great product
Hi,I have bought this Air Purifier Levoit Vital 100 for years and it turns iut working great. This time, I gave it another shot by purchasing anther one, but I went with a used one (like news) at the second time. The item arrived in an open box (of course) with a small crack on the back side, but it’s still fine with me. Which I haven’t expected is that the filter is missed. I believe that it should come with a filter included, which made me a bit disapointed.Overall, that is a normal experience when buying a used product. The product is still great and I am happy with it.

A Solid Air Filter
Spoiler:So many of these air filters are the same. They are just a box with a fan in it that sucks room air over a filter. Unless you get something very expensive that does something different, they are all the same.So I needed to replace two super old Sears, yes Sears Kenmore, HEPA filters we used in our bedroom and elsewhere in the house. They are still going but one has a little bit of a wobbly fan after 20+ years so its relegated to cat litter duty until it quits. Or I take it apart and see what I can do to tune it up.Bought one of these units. Its basically the same thing. An airtight box with a fan that draws room air across a filter and exhausts the "scrubbed" air.Lets get to it:I liked this filter enough to buy this, a second one.ALL of these are noisy on high. So what? Run it on high for awhile while youre not in the room then turn it down lower if the sound is bothersome when you are in there. These appear to be built well. Have nice features like a dimmable touch pad so you can use it in a dark bedroom. Magnetic front panel top get at the filter and pre filter.Nice surface area of a nice large filter.A great feature is the washable pre filter. Wash that thing out every week or five and you'll be in good shape! Especially if you have pets. The key with these, and I'm not an engineer, seems to be how they draw air in and how they exhaust the filtered air. If those vents are too close, then it creates a "short circuit" of pulling in a loop of the same air. This filter pulls from the sides and exhausts out the top. Nicely done designers! It's fairly boxy Like 12" x 15" but its fairly thin like 6". You should be able to fit it in most rooms. We ran the first one we bought on high in our bedroom upon getting up in the morning, making the bed, getting dressed. All the stuff that stirs things up. Then we leave it on medium the rest of the day and low at night. You do feel the difference in the air. Havent had pollen season yet but from the previous 20 years of using the different units I had, I just know this will do well, better even because the filter is a bigger surface area than my old ones. Sometimes we use it on high and set the timer.Nice units. Will update my 5 stars if some sort of reliability issue pops up through using it.Dont get too bogged down in the details of other ones. There is no real magic. These are just boxes that pull air in, filter it, send it back out again, and offer some features like speeds, timers, etc. This is a good version of these air cleaning boxes and well worth your consideration.

Exactly what I was looking for - strong filtration for open floor room in a dog/active family
I was looking for a air purifier for my common place and larger room/hallway. We have a dog that shed regularly and we are an active family that are constantly going in and out after hiking/running daily. I also cook a lot, and our main floor is a big open floor plan space. My MUST HAVEs are: 1) be able to handle a big area, 2) good purifying function for dust, 3) can handle smoke purifying during forest fire season, 4) relatively easy maintenance, 5) as small as possible floor footprint. My NICE TO HAVEs are: 6) Reusable filters or affordable replacement filters, 7) kind of loud!I had Conway AP-1512HH for a while. I liked the filtration, but it was big and bulky, the washable pre-filters were kind of a pain to clean and replacement HEPA filters were expensive. And the color of black really doesn't hide my dust well in between cleaning. So I sold them.I bought one, tested it out for about 2 month, liked it a lot, and got another one to cover all the open floor plan area in two floor. Here are the detail of my must-have and nice-to-have:1 & 2) This thing catches a lot of the dust! I have a robot vacuum I ran daily but my house seems to be super dusty because we run/walk/hike a lot with our dogs. I can see the dust in common area reduced after I start using this especially adding 2 units, one on the main floor in the middle of the common area and one upstairs in the hallway (we keep our bedroom doors open)3) Have not tested this yet, keeping my figures crossed for our forests!4 & 6) The filters are one single unit with the a very thin pre-filter attached to the carbon and Hepa filter with Velcro. I vacuum the pre-filter about every 3-7 days, and tried to wash it. The washing and drying process changed the shape and tension of pre-filter and it stretches it to make it kind of hard to put the pre-filter back. So I decided to buy filter packs with extra pre-filters, because I would like to replace pre-filter more frequently due to my house being dusty. And there are plenty of after market filter packs with very reasonable price! Outside of the filter, the unit is very easy to clean. The white color hides my white dog hair well, lol!5) It is not big so fits perfectly without getting in the way.7) I know most people want a quiet air purifier. Not me. Our dogs are sensitive to sounds outside our house so I use the air purifiers as noise machines! Usually I keep the unit on the middle setting, which is the level I like to keep my air clean and not being too loud when the family is socializing. I turn the setting to highest when I know I will get milk deliver that night, and my dogs usually don't bark with two air purifiers on high PLUS a noise maker by the window closest to my milk cooler. My use case is unique to me, and I hope this is helpful!
