I bought these as replacement brake callipers for my VW Golf MK 5They are well made with a quality that appears similar to the OE callipers at a fraction of the price.Some of the reviews were critical of the fit, but I found no issues at all. I inspected all the machined threads and again found them to be perfect . The threads are a fine unf thread, so are easy to cross on assembly, I can only think this is why some reviews mention poor threads. I was dubious because they are a budget option , but having fitted them I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Bought this a couple of days ago. Changing brake calipers is a lengthy process and one needs to bleed the air out of the entire system once that`s done. I took days to do all that, only to find out that this product is extremely low quality. The screw for bleeding simply would not stop turning around. The "metal" which this part is made of is such low quality, that the screw did eat it for dinner as if it was aluminum.

2010 Model Year 1Z3 Octavia2 installation honest review. Pro: Very good price. Con: as mentioned in another review I had to swap the brake flexi pipe bracket and hand brake return spring over from my existing old caliper because the flexi brake pipe bracket was misaligned on the new unit one. This prevented the fitting of the flexi to the small fixed brake pipe. Hope this makes sense as reading this from a previous reviewer helped me and seems to be a common problem for this item.

Good cheap calipers. Works a treat for an old workhorse. Fits A3 8p perfect.

Only got round to fitting this part a couple of days ago and found it wouldn’t bleed properly,I changed the brake pipe and brake fluid but still no luck,I then clamped off each of the calliper's and it showed the new calliper was the one that was not working 🤔
