What can I say about a breadboard. They work. They are very small... but perfect for my NodeMCU application.

I've seen a lot of bad reviews on many kinds of small breadboards like these but so far I have had a pretty great experience with them. I've only used 7 of them so far but I've tried every color to test the connections before going ful swing into things. I'll be buying more in the next month or two.
